Song: One Peaceful Day
Reviewer: Jeff Roberts
Positive Comments: Top notch Rock tune with a hard edge. This would suit fans of Radiohead, Foo Fighters, and Bon Jovi Cool intro with the gauzy Post-Rock ambient sounds and entrance of quarter note. There are elements of John Lennon and late Beatles in the composition. The found sound section works well. The little laugh at the end is a stroke of genius. This is very strong work and a lot of craft & talent are shown here!!
Constructive Comments: You might be compressing the overall mix too much to a flatline dynamic–it’s a bit ear fatiguing. The first verse has some vocal melody/phrasing that are a bit cliche to me, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t perfect for the intended audience. The first verse has some subtle vocal pitch issues, but subtle ones.
