Positive Comments: I loved the introduction and some of the guitar licks. It had an old school kind of feel, which was nice.

Constructive Comments: I gave it a three because I could not understand alot of the words you were singing. I would re do the vocals , so they are a little more clear.Maybe a little lift in the3 chorus and in the tone of voice on the chorus would make it stand out.It has poentential, just a few tweaks.

Positive Comments: This has a great New Orleans feel like a Dr John tune. I can hear the Dirty Dozen Brass Band coming in on this. The vocal performance is just right and very authentic for the style, coming in behind the beat. It ain’t there yet but I already like it and want to hear the final mix. Great tune!!

Constructive Comments: Get that keyboard part in sync tight with rhythm and it will kick. There are a number of spots where it’s way behind the beat even though the part is perfect. The guitar is coming from next door, and often it’s just too much noodling–make it concise and snappy. This is a great tune that needs work and so deserves it.

The City and Me by Simon Finn

Constructive Comments: There are a few musical timing issues, but that might be intentional, realism & that down home feel! It’s actually very cool!! Great Job Gentlemen!!!
