Positive Comments: This isn’t Ambient because there’s prominent melodic motif. More Electronica, and very good at that. I really like the melancholy vibe–there is a variety of haunting sounds and layers coming in and out, with the original motif appearing in numerous guises. Excellent work –I really enjoyed this one!!
Constructive Comments: The drum parts are clipping pretty badly. I think I’d move to a more pulse drum/percussion track without recognizable “drums” as such. The music of Ulrich Schnauss would be a good reference for this. I think there a number of arrangement tweaks yet? The “steinway” parts didn’t move me as much as the moody keys (and they really did).
