Song: A Smoky Soho Blues Bar, Probably Midnight
Reviewer: Anna Rudolph
Positive Comments: the vocals are awesome. the mood is captivating, smokey, sultry. At first I was waiting for actual lyrics, and by the end, I still couldn’t tell if there were any, but it kind of didn’t matter because the vocal quality was great and I was entranced! The background guitar, drums, bass were all great, full of reverb and atmosphere. I loved it.
Constructive Comments: I don’t know what I would change about this. It is what it is–a bluesy, smokey ambiance of a song, with some vocals that were great. I don’t know if this was an original or not (sorry for my ignorance). If it was an original, I would try to put a few actual lyrics to it. It just sounded so nice, I think it’s a waste to not have some dark, bluesy, lusty lyrics that would really keep someone coming back and listening to this song.
