Positive Comments: This sounds like it could be great for licensing on a video game or Ocean’s Eleven-type movie trailer. The lyric sample is cool, the intro is solid, makes me want to listen more. There are enough surprises in the song to keep me interested. The claves are really cool. Well done!

Constructive Comments: Really a solid song overall but perhaps the mixing/mastering could be improved, clearer.

Positive Comments: This sounds like it would be perfect for a video game! It sounds like something you would hear on a sports video game or in a racing game like a Need for Speed. The hook is repetitive and solid. Very nice and intense instrumental to listen to.

Constructive Comments: The part that really threw me was that spot at 1:45… It was unique, but it really threw off the rest of the flow of the song. It sounds like this was already part of a movie or video game trailer and those were sound effects for what was going on onscreen? If so, cool, but listening to it just as an instrumental really threw me off and made me want to turn the song down because of the dissonance. When it kicked back in, it was back to solid form.

Positive Comments: Very nice soothing melody, Great Vocalist on this composition and excellent instrumentation & musicianship!! The tune is so soft and gentle, it pulls the listener in to hear every last word sung by this singer!!Just an all around pleasant musical listen….Good early morning Coffee-Zen-Time Stuff!! Fine Job!!!

Constructive Comments: Small Suggestion……at 0:17 when the guitar comes in, the setting on the Guitar sound is a tad Heavy in that Leslie speaker sound and to me……over-powers the total music spectrum, hope this makes sense………cause I’m not sure I know what I’m talking about?? LOL!!Again, nice composition……….

Positive Comments: This is one of the most painful songs I’ve ever heard. And I mean that in an artistic sense–this is so start and powerful. It’s like a bit of Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, and Daniel Johnston all together. The guitar sounds good and the parts work well with the song. There are some really strong lyrical moments (who sits behind the sun) It’s so fully emotional not many will be able to hang with this but I think if it were heard by enough people this would be a cult classic.

Constructive Comments: I think maybe it’s perfect like it is.

Positive Comments: That’s a bold and risky vocal–hat’s off to you. This has all the gusto of a Tom Jones song. It digresses from Pop to Doo Wop / Roots Rock in the middle but I think it works. That’s a major vocal performance, great guitar tone, backing vocals, tight rhythm section, and a solid tune. The almost gypsy guitar solo in the middle is a wonderfully unexpected change of pace.

Constructive Comments: Nothing really. It ain’t current but you could tear it up on a cruise ship with this!!

Positive Comments: Really nice slide work, solid rocking blues track

Constructive Comments: Performances are pretty solid, slide playing is very nice, drums pound away pretty good. I might pump up the guitar/bass drum mix and pull back the voice a little … lyrically I find it , at best, vague … is that line ” it’s so empirical ” … rhymed with ” miracle ” well maybe in a self help book, just not in a blues song I’d want to listen to.

Positive Comments: The vocals remind me of Bruce Cockburn, and that’s a good thing. There are some really nice plaintive vocal moments here. Later in the tune the bass/drum groove is really nice. This is a good start to a tune with lots of potential.

Constructive Comments: There’s a tremendous 500hz? boominess that needs to addressed here. The drum track is too minimal 505 to add much but the basic groove choices are good. The intermittment lead guitar parts are harsh sounding and fight the bridge. The bridge has some really pitchy and out of rhythm vocals. Overall there are a lot of timing issues where you don’t play to the beat. This needs a lot of work yet, but I think the tune’s worth it.
