Song: Rock Show

Reviewer: MGB

Positive Comments: Very good piece here. As a fan of classic rock, I hear a lot of Emerson, Lake and Palmer here, as well as Asia. Very catchy tune, and whenever a change is needed, it seems to be there. Really good arrangement. Great outro.

Constructive Comments: Great sound. Only flaw in the recording is at :17 second mark. If it’s there on purpose, it’s actually very original, but the problem is, everyone would think it’s a flaw.

Song: Another Day In Love With You / Dreampop

Positive Comments: Nice job. I see this as being the background music for a love story. It creates a very blissful feeling. I think it has good market potential. We need more uplifting songs like this. I look forward to hearing more of your music.

Constructive Comments: I was looking for a little more variation and I heard it with lyrics in my head. If you have not put lyrics to this, you might consider adding some. Just a thought. I really enjoyed this.

Song: You Never Said Goodbye

Positive Comments: ABBA and if anyone writes anything else, they are lying! -) Eurovision song contest would also be a way to describe it. In al fairness, nice. Nice build up and some tricks to grab the attention of the listeners. Very 70/80’s of course! But there is a market for that style still out there! It has all the elements that we may expect from a song like this.

Constructive Comments: I’m not really sure what to write here. The song is nice, but will (to my opinion) not do well in the current market due to the different music of these days. And judging on how you understand the build up for songs like this one, you should easily be able to write something more “now” too. But I will not be able to check your profile if you did after I finished writing this.

Song: Ideal World (Ft. CoriAnder & Amy Reader)

Reviewer: Paul Krans

Positive Comments: Very well sung. Very recognizable and fun! A bit of an 80’s vibe to it. The recording is professional and consistent. The singer has a distinctive voice which is a real asset in the current market. The song is unique as a stand alone song. Even though it has a mellow and relaxed vibe, there is still a positive vibe present in the song.

Constructive Comments: The song structure could use some more different elements to make specific parts stand out more. Now, it goes by like one long same sound almost, which does not do justice to its true potential.

Positive Comments: reminds me of the song little arrows. song has excellent rhythm. it has a positive no heartbreak theme. a positive song has more commercial value.

Constructive Comments: the song was very enjoyable to listen to. keep up the great work.

Song: A Life of My Own

Reviewer: Paul Krans

Positive Comments: The song has a very 70’s/80’s vibe! Personally I think the song would fit well on the album of an artist, but would probably not be a single. The songs title calls for an even deeper view of the story behind the title. The instrumental part is done well, but lacks the “now” sound for commercial success. It would do well on easy listening radio stations though! The vocals are perfect and the singer has a voice that is easy to listen to. A bit like Olivia Newton J.

Song: Every Time

Reviewer: Mitch Siegal

Positive Comments: Great voice and the percussion is awesome! One of those songs you really enjoy listening to from start to finish. Just a classy tune that should easily find its way not only in BJ top 10, but movie soundtracks.Best of luck to you my friend!

Constructive Comments: none at all better than I could do!

Broadjam Artist: Chet Nichols
Song: Tangled Up In You (was #1 Broadjam: Folk-Rock)

Reviewer: Mitch Siegal

Positive Comments: This has a Neil Young vibe and sound to it. Beautiful! All the backing vocals including yours are solid!

Constructive Comments: The over all mix is a bit dull and in need of a bit of studio magic polish. The volume is a bit low and could be beefed up a bit as well. Best of luck to you, nice work here.

Song: Ain’t Going Nowhere

Reviewer: Mitch Siegal

Positive Comments: Fresh original tune, I enjoyed it. Had a bit of a 60s throwback vibe to it.

Constructive Comments: the female backing vocals need to be scooted a bit more towards the back, little too upfront. they are also a bit too separated stereo wise causing a sore thumb so to speak in the overall mix when it occurs. other than that its a terrific song. best of luck to you!
