Positive Comments: very familiar chord progression. I think this would do well in Latin where they use a Matuna a lot. There are elements of the Middle East once you get past the repetitive beginning which does not sound original

Constructive Comments: Don’t get me wrong, I like the piece but it does not sound original.

Constructive Comments: a bit repetitive so as I said it would make good background music.

Sermonette/ Country Religious by Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods

Song: Sermonette/ Country Religious

Reviewer: amy abernathy

Positive Comments: It has a pretty flow, but I got distracted by the static. Very nice guitar licks in there.

Constructive Comments: There was lots of static on the recording and it blurred everything. I know this was just a demo, but it needs a good clear recording. I found it to be a little slow, it needed a little more depth. i kept waiting for the lyrics.I would say this is a song that would be quite nice with words.

Positive Comments: The into was very nice, you have a lovely voice. The lyrics had a good rhyme scheme and a good structure. I thought it was sang with lots of emotion that made it very pretty.

Constructive Comments: i loved the slow into, it built up a lot of intrigue, however I felt let down when it got to the song, because it did not speed up a little, and I expected a little more in the background to give it stregth.I felt like it needed to be one speed faster, it seemed to drag in some areas. You have a beuatiful voice that is so tender and great.

Positive Comments: i loved the drums and the guitar lick in the intro. You had a fun beat to this, i loved the energy behind it.You had a good structure in the lyrics. Some words were not as clear when singing, so i would say work on diction. However I really liked it.

Constructive Comments: I would say work on diction in places, some parts were a tiny bit pitchy. The music was good, i can see it being very maarketable in today’s country. good work.

Song: Be Careful My Heart

Positive Comments: Enjoyed this very much. Performed and sung well. Great arrangement and production values. Can tell you have take care over this song and it shows. You clearly have a lot of potential. Well done.

Constructive Comments: Good use of the guitars. Sounds interesting and sophisticated. My personal preference would have been to put a filter on the synth strings to make them a touch more realistic or perhaps a patch to use real midi orchestration. The song itself was very good but maybe needing a stronger hook to make it stick in listeners minds. Good overall effort,
