Positive Comments: Great organic feel to the song. I really like the instrumental arrangement. Great drums bass and staccato guitar chords. Excellent use of the subtle keyboard. Excellent vocal delivery. Great drive to the song and it’s very catchy.

Constructive Comments: I’ve knocked down the quality of the recording by a notch because I think the vocal is too low in the mix at some points. Otherwise it’s very strong.

Positive Comments: A really powerful sound. Great rhythm guitar, bass and drums. In fact excellent musicianship all round. Plenty going on to keep the listener on board for the entire ride. Really nicely mixed and mastered.

Constructive Comments: I think that you decided to change the guitar patch in the solo to deliver more light and shade. However to my mind the change is too radical. I would have stuck to a meatier tone for the solo. That is if could play the guitar to that standard! Certainly worth pitching for commercial use. Good luck.

I chose the title only because it reminds me a little bit of “You Are My Sunshine” in a couple places. Clever work!

Positive Comments: Very pleasant song with a very pleasant beat. It flows very smoothly. Instrumentation and arrangement are great. At the beginning, you think Jimmy Buffet is coming at you, but after listening a couple times, it sounds more like you have a persona all your own. Best of luck.

Constructive Comments: Only thing I could even consider changing here is the line “feeling weak when you want to be strong.” The only reason I say that is because I was guessing along, and I just kind of knew that would be the next line. That is just my test of originality. If I can guess the next line, it needs to be changed. May be a dumb rule, though. Best of luck with this and all of your undertakings.
