Positive Comments: Very cool sounding Rock Song – I love the sound of the drums and the rhythm guitar and lead guitar.

Constructive Comments: I like the beat and the way the drums and guitars are mixed however, I think the vocals need work because it’s hard to understand what being said in the chorus – best wishes!

Positive Comments: I like the beat and the sound of the drums, also very cool driving rhythm guitar – sounds a little like the Cars.

Constructive Comments: I like the introduction and the cool drum beats however, I would change the lead guitar solo or take it out altogether – also it sounds like you uploaded a version that has need cut off at 2 minutes and 56 seconds – best wishes!

Positive Comments: Solid groove that is expertly performed and recorded. Very impressed with the mix here. Sounds very pro on my studio monitors. Being a bass player I like the bass part. Sounds like it is fretless. However, samples are so good now it is hard to know what’s happening but the bass is presented beautifully here.

Constructive Comments: I listened to this tune twice. The hook never jumped out to me. I try not to listen too hard because I believe it should just present itself to the average listener. The tune does sound dated to me. Like an 80’s vibe BUT that doesn’t make it bad. I’m simply saying you may be limited as to finding a home for it when marketing. However, the musicianship is so good here it sounds like you can do anything you want with tunes like this. Good luck!

Walk A Mile In My Blues by Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods

Song: Walk A Mile In My Blues

Reviewer: MGB

Positive Comments: Very nice to listen to for a change of pace. I really like the smoothness of this piece. Don’t listen to the blues very often, but I usually enjoy them when I do. Nice piece.

Constructive Comments: The only reason I had to knock something off for originality is that there’s about 7 notes played consecutively that appear to be the same notes in succession from the Beatles’ “Michelle”. Not enough that would make it plagiarism, just a little bit similar.

Positive Comments: Great! Enjoyed it.

Constructive Comments: I have one almost identical except with Guitar and synthesizer orchestra. My thought was the Guitar is the male and the synth is the female and the male raises the intensity of the song and the female responds. Mine is dated/old school synth and so is yours. The drums could use a little “humanize” to not sound so programmed. All-in-all very nice.
