Positive Comments: The lead singer has a great blues voice. she has just the kind of growl that this song needs. I liked the instrumentation…the horns sounded like authentic blues horns to me. The blues guitar work was excellent too.
Constructive Comments: I liked the guitar a lot and would have liked to hear it adding licks and fills around the vocal. I found the second voice coming in later in the song confusing…I wasn’t expecting it and didn’t understand the words the first time through. The mix was good but not exceptional. I could see this song being picked up by a music supervisor if the right opportunity comes up. Nice work.
