Positive Comments: Starts out like Steve Miller’s “Cash Ain’t Nothing but Trash”, complete with Police Whistle. Gotta be Signal 30. The music is tight and the bowels are too. This doesn’t seem to preclude saying ‘constipation’ 100+ times though so is it a compound diagnosis with verbal diarrhea? Who gives a shit. Oh wait I think he wants and can’t, so is that giving a shit? Do you have to distinguish between figurative and literal?

Positive Comments: In 1984 I think you would have had a hit with this. It sounds a LOT like the Talking Heads–the beat/bass line are pure Talking Heads and the rest is Oingo Boingo. This is a period piece but it’s really so well done!!

Constructive Comments: Nothing really. Maybe too much repetition of the hook? But that’s kinda how this type of tune is done. It’s not current tune, and that’s too bad. It would have been a hit *then*.

Positive Comments: Good groove and drum track–great kick sound and the drummer has great timing. The kick and bass are locked in together. This is very Garage / Punk –somewhere between the Stooges and Wheezer. The chorus sounds a lot like Bare Naked Ladies “Get in Line” especially with the high/low unison vocals. You really take a chance with the tempo changes but I think it works, and you go into some jazzy jamband “Traffic” territory This is a really strong tune and performance.

Constructive Comments: It’s a lot noisier than I like but that’s taste. I’d like to hear a bit more rhythmic variety in the guitar solo–it’s very locked out 8th notes. The vocals are bit too dry and maybe roll off some of the low mids there?I hear more cool stuff on a repeat listen–this is tune that could have been on the radio 20 years ago.
