Constructive Comments: It might be my ear, but I would ask the engineer mix it so the drum track doesn’t sound so bright. It sounded a little too much like the other instruments, where I would have preferred a deeper sounding drum track as opposition to the horns.

Constructive Comments: Arrangement is a bit flat, nothing happens and sometimes the guitar line is fighting against the piano theme. You have all the sounds and lines you need, it’s just about to allocate them better. Pad plays all the time, maybe if it stops it creates more space for the guitar and for synth sequences.

Positive Comments: This is one of the most lyrically intelligent songs I have ever reviewed on Broadjam. It’s an amazing warning and expose’ of the town that eats people alive and spits ’em out. The songwriter tells the story alarmingly well. He’s probably been there and done that…or observed the trouble and escaped before it was too late. Best lyric/rhyme: thick skin/silicone sins. That’s powerful creative writing. The verses lead right into the hook, but there is always a surprise around the next corner.

Constructive Comments: I almost gave this a 4 in market potential, but it was such an amazing song, I had to give it straight up 5’s. Could be shorter but what would you cut???
