Positive Comments: This song is a nice mix of multiple instruments, including an accordion, a few guitars, a bass and drums (based on my limited experience listening to this song). The arrangement is melded nicely and every instrument stays on time/beat. Its an interesting sound, with a bob dylan style vocal and the accordion adding a polka/tejano/southwestern element. Comes together well and wish you best!

Constructive Comments: Right in the beginning of the song, the guitar is being strummed, but this part takes away from the true melody of the ‘lead’ guitar. My suggestion would be cut out the small rhythm guitar part in the beginning and start the song right at the lead guitar. The rhythm intro is 6 seconds and that time could really be used to hear more of the terrific lead guitar, even with time to embellish a bit….great work and much respect!

Positive Comments: It is a nice duet, which do not seem to be as common these days. The lyrics fit nice with the arrangement. The voices are unique and seem to embody the emotion stemmed in the lyrics. I look forward to more duets, especially with songs that have such a memorable melody as this one. Great work and I know how trying and difficult recording an original song may be, so my hat is off to you and much respect.

Constructive Comments: This song is labeled as ‘Country’, but I suggested ‘Pop’ for the existing version I heard. If the melody was played with a guitar, it could really be a great country song. Not a lot of guitar, just in between the lyrics to add a little twang and another layer of emotion. I would love to hear it, if you add an electric guitar melody!

Positive Comments: I would really like to use a reinforcing cuss word of glory to describe how awesomely refreshing it was to listen to this song. I have heard this type of music before ,but it’s been a while and I never thought I would get to hear & review one on Broadjam.com. Great inflection/dynamics in the narrators story telling voice. The history lesson and historical figures the author chose were on spot and it took me the listener in this case with a affinity for history on a little refresher !!! history lesson journey through time. Well Well Well Done. Hats off!!

Constructive Comments: It takes balls to do unique songs like this one and do it well cuz i think in a song like this one so much can go wrong if all the elements to the track are near flawless. It also reminded me of a song from my childhood that is similar in character to this piece. It reminded me of the classic “Conjunction Junction Whats your function” different but the same. Great work!!

Positive Comments: Nice, mellow vibe. This could could sync well in many places for film. Could easily see this filling a bar scene. Nice overall hook and instrumentation. Nice tight ending as well.

Constructive Comments: For variation I personally would have maybe added a lead guitar for a bridge or lead keyboard synth. Overall nice work though.

Positive Comments: I like how the song begins. I like the instrumentation and how the song builds to the hook. I like the quiet all the way to loud. I like your instrumentation. Your vocals are great.

Constructive Comments: Lyrics: I would just make sure that each verse relates to the chorus. Try re-crafting verse 2. And maybe keep all the same person viewpoint, or at least limit to two person viewpoint, you, we, etc., instead of “wonder why people….” wonder why you…. so, it may be just me, but two many viewpoints pulls me out of the song a little bit. 🙂

Positive Comments: I like the overall idea, minimalism has a great appeal and it works on many kind of movie.

Constructive Comments: Arrangement it’s not bad, I like it. Anyway if you want to improve this track, you can to work on single sounds cause they look a little thin.
