Broadjam Artist: Jeff Maguire
Song: Do The Monkey ( short version )
Reviewer: Jeff Roberts
Positive Comments: This reminds me so much of Edwyn Collins’ Girl Like You. It’s a cool & slinky groove with eerie Farfisa? key parts. Love the tremolo guitar too and the minor groove bass line. Very much an early 80’s Bowie type sound. Now write lyrics for this cool instrumental!!!
Constructive Comments: Now write lyrics for this cool instrumental!!! Overall sound is a bit thin without a lot of bass range and too much high mid? Sounds like it was transferred from tape. This is a totally cool piece.
