Positive Comments: This is musical with a tight keyboard performance and some very nice changes in key spots. It has a positive vibe that would work in a “company success” video context. There are some very tasteful chord changes here.

Constructive Comments: The reverb on the drums has a very high EQ tail that I’d try to tone down a bit (kind a of rattling BB’s sound). The horn part would be good with a real horn–the line is good–but the keyboard execution gives it too much of a band in a box feel (and yes it’s frustrating to not be able to get real horns in easily without hiring a section!!).I think you need a bit more tension in the arrangement. You’ve got some really cool changes / voicings already so I think this would come from going to the rhythm section and working to make it breathe more and vary from the “chipper 8ths” that are playing constantly. You *do* this at 3:32 but it’s really late in the game. What about bringing the whole thing down about 4bpm? That would leave more room for drama maybe?
