Positive Comments: Lush acoustic country sound with a Prairie Home Companion vibe–dobro, mandolin, and strumming acoustic. A really rich baritone voice is telling a melancholy story. This feels like a truck stop cup of coffee on a long day of driving–lonely and blue but still kinda hopeful.
Constructive Comments: Don’t do “it’s the end of the song” that’s a rupture in the story and a bit of a cop out IMO, in the middle of so much strong lyric work.
