Positive Comments: What a great little intro…really sets a mood…calm and gritty sound. Vocal fit the mood perfectly…pretty talky, but fits this piece nicely. Kind of a 80’s feel…can’t quite place who this reminds me of…possibly Michael McDonald…maybe even David Bowie….more mood than melody…very nicely done and it’s still in my head.

Constructive Comments: Recording is a little thin…but that might just be that it hasn’t been mastered yet…(or..I had the volume down…lol)

Positive Comments: Very cool sounding song – I love the sound of the drums and the lead and backing vocals are great – sounds a little like Hermin Hermits.

Constructive Comments: I like the song and even though I never like to give this advice because I know how much work is involved it, but I think the song needs to be shortened to about 180 seconds – also I think you need to take away some of the verses and add another chorus line because the chorus line or hook is the best part of this song – best wishes!

Positive Comments: I love the way the drums start out in this one, very cool Keyboards and guitar.

Constructive Comments: I like the song very much, the only thing I would suggest is to add a musical bridge in the mid-area of the song – just to give it a little more flavor – best wishes!

Positive Comments: Wow really strong beat. Would be great for commercials, or football games. Love the sound of the almost toylike piano. Great short song definitely wanted to hear more of it. I like the vocals what we’re there. Great song!

Constructive Comments: The only thing I can really add was maybe the vocals could’ve been a touch louder or maybe a few more people singing but everything sounded great! good job!

Constructive Comments: I would try to get the song moving just a little bit faster. they say the intro needs to be around 13 seconds, which I don’t agree with in certain strains, jazz being one.

Positive Comments: Wow, what a cool raspy country voice, you have a great country music voice. It has lots of textures and tones that was beuatiful. I loved the softness of the melody and the simple introduction was sweet and charming. I got the feeling this was deeply personal, which made the emotion very real. Very pretty song.

Constructive Comments: I was told by my Publisher that he would not take any songs over 4minutes, because radio and publishers wanted it to be 4 minutes or longer. This song is over five minutes, I think there are things you can cut out to make it shorter and still tell the story you want to tell. Maybe take out one of the chorures. I liked the song alot, a few tweaks will make it more marketable.

Song: Then You Came

Reviewer: amy abernathy

Positive Comments: I like the story you were trying to convey, we all can relate to finding someone that makes life a little better for us. I enjoyed the traditional country sound with a country voice. I liked the way the bridge had a lot of power at the end, itgave the song a lift. The second half of the song was my favorite part.

Constructive Comments: I always hate to give the constructive, but the goal is to help other artist make their songs the best, so I give advice with that in mind. Although I liked the story, the ryhmes felt so forced at times, that it took away from the sincerity of the song. I felt like the first part of the song lacked the energy of the second half, although the buildup in the second half was good. There were a few places where the vocals needed to be tuned a little. I gave you a three, which is still a good song, but needs a few tweaks to make it a five. You have a nice country voice.
