Positive Comments: This song has a great pulsing bass hook which really sets the song off and gives propulsion and drive. I love the way the song has a stripped down arrangement and dynamics throughout. There is a great use of reverb on the vocal track. The song has a great New Wave Tom Petty/ The Cars style vibe to it which means the song can work in any era and still sound fresh.

Constructive Comments: As A bass player I love a good rhythmic hook and this one drives the song along nicely. The song has the quality that could be stripped down to a guitar and voice and it will still work, so it doesn’t rely on the production. So often a somewhat weak offering is glitzed up with a lush production to compensate for a poor effort, this is not the case here. If I were to say something, and it’s only because I often do the same myself is, not drop some of the low bass eq, as the bottom end is slightly boomy.

Constructive Comments: The parts that had the oooh ‘s in it were very high pitched and through off the song a bit. Other than that, it had a good rymthem, although i think the arrangement could be a little tighter. A cool song.

Positive Comments: Huge, Huge, Heavy Rock Sound, it’s like a massive Earth Quake comin’ at you full speed, hold on, it’s gonna shake you to your core!! Really like the sound of the guitars, almost sounds like Van Hal**?? (Oh, thanks Broad Jam for not incorporating fact check capabilities in your review process, that’s so not cool!!!) Anyway, back to the review, very cool memorable guitar Licks/Hooks and super fine Lead Vocal….this is HOT!!

Constructive Comments: Just one small suggestion, the Music track is a tad over powering, can’t always hear the well written lyrics, had to play it several times through!! Still this is a quick fix and it just might be my crappy small computer speakers….???? Love the song, great job!!

Positive Comments: I definitely like the laid back vibe of the song. I also dig the Randy Newman-ish/Jerry Garcia Grateful Dead vibe as well. The vocal production has that Grateful Dead quality as does the instrumentation and arrangement.

Constructive Comments: This isn’t the kind of music I normally listen but I do appreciate the vibe the song has. Keep up the good work guys!!

Positive Comments: oh I like the starting of this song and of course the whole theme of this is wonderful subject of this family thing! This takes me back to childhood when the aunts would come over for the holidays and squeeze you to death.I didn’t mind the slobbering lipstick kisses so much but that perfume was so strong I would have to go outside and roll around in the grass to get some of it off!!!
