Broadjam Artist: Rocky Larson
Song: One day
Reviewer: Trinity
Positive Comments: Piano being a lead instrument is very prevalent in the New Age scene, perhaps because it is a very pure sounding instrument that evokes a lot of emotion. As I say a lot in these reviews, because of the nature of the commercial context, this is a very cinematic piece, denoting a feeling of maybe sadness, or even romance, perhaps both.
Constructive Comments: I love the string arrangement behind the piece, it is thematic without basing itself around a specific refrain. There is definitely a market for this type of emotive and beautiful piece, showcasing real talent from it’s composer. There are definitely echoes of Hans Zimmer in the overall nuance of the sound. This composer should do very well in the film music market.
