Positive Comments: Great song! I like the violin lead ala Jean Luc Ponty and the aggressive drums. Sounds like a more groovy version of Mahavishnu or something. The recording is well done and well mixed to my ears, and there’s a good balance of left and right panning. Sounds great!

Positive Comments: Great sounding recording and musicianship all around! Nice guitar tones and technique as well. My guess the drums are probably canned, but they’re well done as well.

Constructive Comments: I know not every song has a B section to it, but I think this song could use some kind of contrast, like a different drum pattern, or a contrasting melody. Or maybe even just kicking the harmony up a half step like in 60’s modal jazz tunes or using a different texture somewhere could keep the ear from fatiguing.

Positive Comments: Great musicianship and arrangement throughout! It uses simple but sophisticated and jazzy harmonies, and the guitar/vocal interplay keeps the interest during the song.

Constructive Comments: The main thing I hear that could be improved is maybe add a little reverb on the vocals as they sound kind of raw and out of place in the mix. The vocal performance sounds good, just mix it a little.

Positive Comments: It’s a lovely tune….shades of Erik Satie here. I love the ethereal ambience of the piece…It’s very atmospheric, it rally evokes a mood. The sound quality is very good.

Constructive Comments: I like the tune very much however think the hand playing the chords, (the left I think), is too dominant. Perhaps it’s the way the piano has been miked up. I would have liked the melodic line to be more prominent. That’s the reason why I’ve marked down the arrangement. I don’t play the piano, so you if I’m writing nonsense then please ignore. Good luck, it’s a good composition.
