Song: Eye Of The Mind (With John A. Serri)
Reviewer: Jeff Roberts
Positive Comments: That intro is groovy–it doesn’t know whether it’s slightly playful or deeply ominous. This seems to be inspired by Art Rock like Kansas, Styx, or Qyeensryche. The middle section that’s almost recitative is quite good–lyrics and vocals. It’s like Phantom of the Opera. This is very ambitious, arty and original. I respect that a lot and salute your creativity!
Constructive Comments: The opening section vocals are very strained, and your timbre really suffers as a result. You gotta find a contract singer or work within your limits. I really think if you just back off the volume/intensity and go for a bit more gravelly “Alice Coopoer” delivery you’d pull it off well.
