Positive Comments: I’d say this is just awesome but it’s me. That said daggone this sounds like The Byrds, and I love the guitar tone, that flowing bass, motown backbeat, and heartfelt vocals.

Constructive Comments: LOL But you know…I LOVE this in every respect. And the first version has the magic even thought it’s so simple. Maybe *that’s* the magic.

Positive Comments: OMG listen to the Paul McCartney song Too Much Rain and you’ll say “Wow same wavelength”. But what does Sir Paul have on you? What a nice Pop tune in the old school vein like Neil Sedaka. I’m going to guess that this is The Noted? Very nice 2nd vocal. Super tight and solid drum track that wraps right around the tune like a glove. The guitars, bass, and keys the same. The lyrics are for grown-ups and pure Pop aficionados, ie really good. There are very sophisticated changes and arrangement touches throughout.

Constructive Comments: The vocals are a bit mousy and nasal. Unfortunately I feel this detracts quite a bit. I bet that the same vocalist could get another take that would have the right amount of gusto.

Positive Comments: The intro makes me think of early 80’s Paul Young. Very melodic and mellow, almost Smooth Jazz. That piano bridge is so mellow and nice, I love it. Very good choice of drums/percussion groove.

Constructive Comments: Not a real sax, so…it’s just not the same no matter how well written the part is. Unfortunately midi sax detracts. And this tune is really good. It’s gorgeous mellow. Where’s the bass? A good bass part would glue this togther very nicely.

Positive Comments: Super nice mood kicks right in with that dark piano and slow groove. Very clear and lovely vocals. I really like the male 2nd vocal coming behind like a Luther Vandross part. Nice bridge with a chromatic bassline descending under the chords. The keyboard work here is class. I really like the way lyrics/melody and voice come together on “no need to ask me when the years begin to fade” that is a great moment. There is a lot of talent and passion here!!

Constructive Comments: I think you need a drum pickup on the intro to orient the listener to the start of the song. Your first verse is almost more like a chorus. I don’t feel like the story is established enough, ie what is the song about? Good love / bad love etc.No need to *ask* you’re flat on ‘ask’There’s tons of talent here. I don’t feel like the song lyrics and structure are where you need them to be yet. Who would you point to as a model for an artist or song?

Song: I Never Thought I’d Ever Feel This Good

Reviewer: amy abernathy

Positive Comments: I liked your deep country voice on this song. it was a nice story song that fits nicely into the country genre. It is more Traditional reminding me of the old kenny Rodgers style. I liked the harmonies also they came in at the right time to accent the chorus.

Constructive Comments: The song is a little dated, so i could not see it on modern country radio. I would say a good movie from the 90’s would be a good fit or the song. I liked the chorus but wish the lyrics were a little more descriptive of why he is feeling so good. It is a good song.

Song: Maybe

Reviewer: Gladstone Avenue

Positive Comments: Love the vocalist, but additionally–there’s a really strong lyric base to the song. Music is well produced and does not take away from those lyrics. Also the vocal is clean, crisp and I would not need a lead sheet to know what is being sung. This is a solid product.

Constructive Comments: Whereas the theme of this song is not really something new, the way it is presented is.

Song: Ashes ( Dallas martin singng)

Reviewer: Gladstone Avenue

Positive Comments: Well, the lyrics lead this song. Really well done. The performance is excellent and the melody, bridge and instrumental is really professional. But it is really the lyrics that I love. And the melody and backing does not distract from the import of the lyrics. There are a lot of Ashes to Ashes songs, but I like this one the best.

Constructive Comments: No additional comments. Just very,v very well done.
