Positive Comments: I really like this song – great vocals and I also like the musical arrangements especially the fiddle work, great message!

Constructive Comments: Great Contemporary Christian Song – I don’t think the I’d change a thing. I do think that I would add a short bible verse during the last 12 seconds of the song, I think the spoken word would work well – best wishes and may God bless!

Positive Comments: It has nice groove to it, very nice playing in the intro. I kept waiting for lyrics. This song definitely would be batter with lyrics.

Constructive Comments: Without lyrics it is hard to review. This would not be just a scene music, it needs vocals.

Positive Comments: This was a pretty song and it told a story about losing that love you once shared.

Constructive Comments: The melody was nice but there was a whining noise in the instrumentation that was unpleasant to the ears. I think the chorus needed to be sung diffrently because it all sounded the same, nothing seperated or made the chorus the main point. I think in places you could cut a few lyrics to make it not drag in places. It is a classic country song. It could be alot better with a little better chorus. What happened to us,it used to be true love, look at what’s lefgt of us,what happened to our love?Something like that would tidy it up a bit. It has a good vibe to it, just a little tweaking would make it better.

Positive Comments: This song drew me in from the very beginning. Starts of with a conversation with a friend whose “ship hasn’t come in” and from that point paints a beautiful picture of a contented heart. I really love this song! My favorite lyric was the one about not climbing the corporate ladder but I can pay my bills. Reminds me of the scripture “Give me neither poverty nor riches”…somewhere right in the middle. I also liked the part about the “woman who believes in me even when I don’t have a plan” (good choice for rhyming with man). There’s not a thing I would change about this amazing chorus. A great song teaches a lesson and this one should be sung and heard a lot. I can’t say enough good things about it. Fantastic job, and I definitely want to hear more of your work.

Constructive Comments: Okay, so where’s the bridge? and a killer verse 3? Even though I absolutely love this song, I feel like it needs something more…at least to make it in the commercial country market. I’m a fan! Mrs. KateOh…and I would love to hear a fiddle in there…

Once Upon A Cricket by Margie & Art Corey, S. & A. Corey

Song: Once Upon A Cricket

Positive Comments: This song definitely gets high marks for originality. It’s a kid-focused song from an adult point of view about a little cricket. It’s actually rather funny… “give him a whack.” I can see the kids jumping when you talk about frogs, and landing with a thump. The ending is pretty comical, too.

Constructive Comments: I think for a kids’ song, this might be kind of long. If you want it to be more “kid-friendly”, marketable in that genre, I’d leave out the “O my God” part. FYI, I wrote a kids song with a cricket in it. Here’s the link, in case you want to listen to it: http://www.broadjam.com/artists/songs.php?artistID=24409&mediaID=572522Mrs. Kate

Positive Comments: Mom and dad insisted we go to the car wash with them, ugh. Now, Steven keeps bothering me and he’s working my nerves. I put on my headphones and hit this play button to get away from it all. Now, I’m caught up in a twilight zone of music. I’m adding this music to my electronic playlist. I can zone out on this. I like zoning out. I’m in the zone here at the car wash on a Sunday.

Constructive Comments: Just my opinion only, the percussion needs a big changeup as it seems redundant. I like all the nuances of the differing instruments. The edge of that electronic keyboard with the long notes is intriguing. I think it could be more dynamic with a chopping away of the percussion to enhance the uniqueness of this piece. The percussion took many marks away on this. Approaching the 5:00 mark and thereafter, there is that very long high pitched noise. Probably could be remixed down some. Please remember, until now, we have never heard this and do not know who this is. We hope you have a great musical day.

If You’d Say I Love You / Country by Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods

Song: If You’d Say I Love You / Country

Reviewer: Kate Carpenter

Positive Comments: Here’s a nice guitar-bass-drums instrumental. Very pleasant to listen to, upbeat and fun. Since the genre is “country cowboy”, all I could think of was some cowboy shopping for a spiffy buckle for his belt to wear to the next country dance. It’s so hard to think of a title for an instrumental. At any rate, it’s a friendly-sounding song and you did a good job.

Constructive Comments: Vary the drums and work on the outro…it’s very abrupt.
