Positive Comments: Very peaceful song…very relaxing and calming. Beautiful piano playing and beautiful backing instrumentation. Everything is balanced perfectly and orchestrated effectively. The dynamics are perfectly placed in this song. Loved every moment from beginning to end. Well done.

Constructive Comments: Not much to say here except I think this should be classified in contemporary classical instead of jazz. But this is a beautiful song no matter where it is placed. Bravo!

Positive Comments: Great musicality and instrumentation. I love the Latin feel to this peace. Lyrics are hot! This song is put together and composed well. Loved the fade out at the end. Great job.

Constructive Comments: The mix needs some work. This sounded really muffled which really affected the quality of the vocals. It affects the tone of the voice(s) and the listener’s ability to understand what is being said. To fix this, you will have to do some adjusting with your equalizer…bringing down some of your low end levels a little and raising up your mid and high ranges some. Also a little work on the parametric levels will bring out the quality of the song. I also noticed a break in the rhythm tracking at 1:48 and other places in the song. The event at 1:48 seems to almost sound like you lost the tracking there…the other spots seem to fit well into the piece. You may want to check it. But other than that, this is a “slammin” piece. Great job.

Positive Comments: Great groove. Love the guitar riffs in this. Being a keyboardist, I’m paying attention to what’s happening there and I love the EP…awesome playing there. Loved the instrumentation. Overall, nice composition.

Constructive Comments: I would have loved to hear more. At 3:02 long, it just didn’t seem like there was enough build. I would have loved to hear a buildup to a really hard escalation with full instrumentation. Also a little more adjustment with the mixing/balancing would be beneficial to this piece. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this piece. Great job.

Positive Comments: Here’s a beautiful rendition of a familiar folk song. It’s obvious that the artist has a deep love for this genre of music it shines through in everything Ms. Delta records. Her plaintive voice tells the story so well. The instrumentation and production are perfect for this recording. Bravo!

Constructive Comments: The vocal is a bit too breathy (especially in the first verse). I would recommend some exercises and coaching to help raise your vocals up to the next level. Love ya, Delta! Mrs. Kate

Positive Comments: As far as soundtracks go, this one sounds really good to me. There’s a very repetitive hook/theme that pulls the whole composition together as the artist employs several different synth sounds to build on his melody. This isn’t calming elevator music, it’s exciting background music that could probably find placement in a commercial opportunity, though I am not an expert in that area. I liked the 1:20 variation on the theme best.

Constructive Comments: Keep up the good work! I like it!

Positive Comments: This man knows how to write a KILLER country song. Pair the engaging, anticipatory story with an original, catchy hook and a gritty-passionate vocal and WOW! I like the way the lyrics build up to her coming home and the great time they’re going to have when her plane comes in. It’s a story everyone can relate to and enjoy, and the clear-cut vocals are so easy to understand. “Crank it Up” is a awesome theme and the writer sticks to it. The rhymes are fresh and fun, not trite. FIVE STARS!

Constructive Comments: The beginning of the song seems “cut off”. Fix that and it’s a perfect “simple” recording. Take it to the next level by adding a full band with bass, some fiddle or mandolin, an instrumental section and this song would absolutely soar. I’m not the best judge of commercially viable songs, but in my humble opinion, this song has what it takes…and the artist too!

Positive Comments: Very nice song! Very pretty tune and nice story. I really liked it.

Constructive Comments: There is one line “But I remember it today” that seems a little rushed to fit it in. I think it is just one too many syllables. If you agree you could lose the “But” or change “Remember” to “Recall”. This is a pretty picky comment but this song is so good and that was the only thing that stuck out for me.
