Constructive Comments: The song is solid, but a new mix or recording might help to clean it up a bit and make it ‘rock’ a bit more… bringing out the instruments in a solid balance and also the vocals in a couple parts… drums get lost a bit with the bass guitar in the song. True that it is ‘the song’ that matters most – but a great recording mix can make that song so much better…make it pop, make it rock, make it yours!

Constructive Comments: Constructive criticism would be to bring down volume of rhythm guitar, voice is largely buried. Vocal is also clearly straining to hit certain notes, so I’d consider either changing the melody,or the key. Probably make it a bit shorter as well.

Positive Comments: Beautiful singer/songwriter composition. I love story songs. This song has a ton of potential. I think the vocal match for the story is perfect. The guitar playing is very good.

Constructive Comments: The story moves along a little too slow to keep the listener engaged. I would speed up the tempo, and that would reflect the pounding of the waves against the ship too. The current guitar playing is more like raindrops then crashing waves.Adding a band would strengthen the story too, but I do like this delivery.

Constructive Comments: This song is begging for bass and drums in my opinion. There were sections where I could hear the cymbals coming in. It would really strengthen the song to radio quality. Good luck with this, its wonderful.
