Positive Comments: It’s the Song Devils gator baitin’ in the R & B Charts now! And there’s the Arkansas Siren again. Really nice open & spacey arrangement with cool, grooving drum track holding it all together. Some tasty bass interludes and vocal interaction that sounds like Peaches & Herb, Roberta & Donnie, Ashford & Simpson interacting in the same room even though I know it’s an online collab. There’s a lotta Soul here, and a great vibe.

Constructive Comments: Purrfect just like it is!!

Positive Comments: Nice arrangement, rhythm changes propel rather than push the piece along, short memorable riff / hooks keep up the interest. Well played.4- 5 stars

Constructive Comments: The only thing different to do is a new arrangement for vocals. Otherwise it’s fine. The drums might be a little more up in the mix and a bit more effective panning for the guitars. Bass is nice, good to hear a little solo.Should be about 4 – 5 stars as is.

Positive Comments: This is a lost Steely Dan tune from the 70s right? Great vibe and lyrics here. It really sounds like a Donald Fagen vocal on the verse with the phrasing and vocal quality. It’s definitely a deep album cut from Classic 70’s.

Constructive Comments: The break at 1:44 is really awkward IMO. The overall recording quality is murky but I’m guessing that this was rescued from tape. You can’t hear the drums well but same thing. The backing vocals on the chorus are maybe not as rhythmically/syllable tight as they should be.

Positive Comments: This is even better considering that it’s a live recording. Really cool band that sounds like they used to play with JJ Cale. Those harmonies are KILLER –it sounds like early Doobie Brothers (who were ace harmony singers). Tasty guitar tone and and restrained, pro playing on every instrument. It’s got a vibe that could be Allmans, Leon Russell, JJ Cale, Santana and many others with a classic late 70’s vibe.

Constructive Comments: Like what? All fives.

Positive Comments: Very well written and played tune in the Dwight Yoakam Honky Tonk vein. Really tight and the production/mix is airplay quality.

Constructive Comments: I really didn’t like the “stompbox dirty” guitar tone and the overblown hard rock riffs. I think it would sound much better with more classic Country lead playing and a driven but sweet tone. Other than that nothing!!!

Positive Comments: Not Blues but Bluesy Rock with some nice playing and great tones on all axes. There are some very cool almost Allman’s dual guitar parts. I like the bass lines and the tasty, in the pocket drumming. I bet this is AudioDream–there’s that distinctive behind the beat feel and untouchable guitar tone.

Constructive Comments: Not enough to stand along but a nice arrangment.

Song: Underware Sale – Featuring Melody Stuart

Reviewer: Jeff Roberts

Positive Comments: More Andrews Sisters than Chicago Blues, despite using the Messin’ With the Kid riff. But that’s just a category issue. This is family friendly county fair folky swing. The answering/backing vocals are great and the lead vocalist has a nice timbre with a good job conveying the story with conviction!

Constructive Comments: The high hat pickup on the and of 4 gives the bassline the sense of being too far behind the beat. I think it would swing much harder if the high hat part didn’t open/close and stripper shimmy as much as it does–it takes the groove prisoner. Listen in the chorus where the drums switch to ride and see how it lets the groove breathe. I think you should have a break down / stop section in the middle with some sort of sassy vocal bridge. The ending should be tagged definitively rather than faded. All IMO
