Positive Comments: Nice catchy tune. I’m not a card player so some of the lyrics are lost on me. I like the vocalist’s tone, fitting for a card-playing cowboy. Good luck with this song.
Constructive Comments: The first half of the song, the mix is a bit off in my opinion, but by the last verse and chorus, I can clearly hear the instruments and the song has built to something I really like, but then it ends. I’d start with the organ heavier in the mix. Include a nice solo and give the song more time. The hook is much stronger in the third chorus with the instruments coming in, perhaps do that in the first two choruses as well, without a pause, you need something to punch it up, the instruments coming in does that.
