Song: When I Met You

Reviewer: HarryBudini

Positive Comments: Mean guitar riff which introduces us to a sixties hued pop song, with some black chords thrown in, led by a tuneful, friendly and pleasant voice singing some intriguing parts. A ringy guitar solo completes the piece. Also, I like the Taxman-type guitar accompaniment. And the organ interlude.

Constructive Comments: What can I say. How could I dare criticize somebody from the depths of my pettiness.

Positive Comments: It’s a pleasant and relaxing instrumental song, based on midi sounds, led by what seems to be a classic guitar sound and by a piano, with strings decorating around them. Strange finale.

Constructive Comments: I don’t seem to have much to say.

Positive Comments: This review is done on my phone, so short. Like the vocal. Like th concept, haven’t heard before. Playing very good. The hook is hammered home, you can miss it. I really enjoyed it.

Constructive Comments: I would mainly say that this is more straight country than bluegrass. Also, the strong hook could use equally strong verse support. Again, sorry my fat fingers on the phone could not type out more

Positive Comments: Just one truly great song!! Beautifully written, creating pictures and an atmosphere of paranoia and desperation – well that’s how I hear it. The song is so powerful, you get the feeling it has already been a hit – and it should be. Beautifully arranged, produced and performed with real feeling by a very talented singer. What can I say – just top drawer music that deserves the very best of breaks.

Constructive Comments: There can be no comments or suggestions other than this is the very best of Broadjam artistry and I wish the writer every success. Lots of luck in getting this published/placed/released. I love it!!

Constructive Comments: Because I like the singer.s voice I wish it was highlighted just a little bit more than it is at the present I like the harmonies and the way they are blendedI think I would get the bass player to try one more pass as he is missing a few notes here and therethanks for sharing!

Nothing Short Of Paradise / R&B by Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods

Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods

Broadjam Artist: Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods
Song: Nothing Short Of Paradise / R&B

Reviewer: Bonfire

Positive Comments: The music suggested expectation, something about to happen. So it would be suitable as a TV or film track, or introduction to a series. Something highlighting expectation, imminent events. It was an original composition, and didn’t sound too predictable, which was good. That sometimes limits commercial potential, as well as sometimes enhancing it.

Constructive Comments: Perhaps, a contrast sequence of music in the piece somewhere, to offer an element or clue of where it is going. A piece of predictability before back to expectation and intrigue. Good innteresting track.

Positive Comments: Such a smooth, easy listening track. I gave it a title based on the feel and images it conjured in my mind. The think is, with the occasional, additional sounds as the music progressed, it made me think I could be walking through a jungle. But, I don’t think a jungle, with potentialpredators, would be particularly relaxing. Strong basic melody and hook.

Constructive Comments: Sorry if the title is way off what you were actually composing. The music was good to listen to from the off. Could definitely be on relaxation, therapy soundtracks, or for TV/film features. I cannot really think of a criticism

Positive Comments: I like the duet vocal. I like a lot of aspects of this song. There is a lot of interesting sounds going on and I love that the song doesn’t strictly adhere to any format. An original sound. Nce work.

Constructive Comments: The mix sounds a little cluttered to my ears. Kinda like everyone wants to shine at the same moment.
