Positive Comments: Classic rock anthem to faded glory and days gone by.

Constructive Comments: It’s well written from a structural standpoint. Constructive criticism would be that overall performances are kind of plodding, not bad, just no real defined articulations or energy, especially the drums which kind of lay there on the beat without inflection. It lacks a real hook as well, the idea of what it’s about is clear enough, but there’s no repeating line or phrase that grabs the attention.

Constructive Comments: I scored a little low on originality because there are many songs about Mexico. That said I want to know more – why Mexico, why not go east? The vocalist started out not too strong in the high range, but it got better and I ended up liking it.

Constructive Comments: The lyrics are a little cramped. Too many words at the end of the chorus. Not sure if the singer is saying “my name is Johnny Doe..”

Positive Comments: I love the classic country sound, reminiscent of Buck Owens! This song will certainly get them dancing. A very happy sounding song about a sad man who can’t stand to see the moon for longing of a lost love.

Constructive Comments: I wish the song was a little longer! You could put a turnaround before each verse and also maybe do the chorus without instruments, expect for maybe a drum beat, once for a sing-along with the audience.
