Positive Comments: I liked this a lot. I can see it being used in one of those action films with superheroes and in this case evil bad guys or towering robots…. I liked the Sequenced voice tone… very nice idea

Constructive Comments: I cant thing of anything to complain about .. .this was the kind of writing that I dont seem to have the skill to do so I enjoyed it a lot

Song: A Life In Question / Soundtrack

Reviewer: Randy Calligan

Positive Comments: I can see this piece being used in a number of applications. It had a nice groove and the playing was competent.

Constructive Comments: The tones and EQ bothered me quite a bit…. I wanted more depth and real tone to the guitar…. the tone of it was thin and distracted me from the overall experience.

Broadjam Artist: Hartmut Oberdieck
Song: crazy horse

Positive Comments: I enjoyed this piece immensely. It had a very nice groove and a pocket. The recording was also done very well as was the guitar playing.

Constructive Comments: Overall I can see this piece being used in a number of ways …

Broadjam Artist: IBP
Song: Seek Me

Reviewer: Randy Calligan

Positive Comments: I dont usually listen to this type of music but I highly enjoyed listening to this. The singer was excellent, recording was excellent…. I like the concept of the lyrics.

Constructive Comments: I would NOT have used that piano sound… consider a real piano or Keystroke… youve spent a lot of time making the vocal sound excellent but the piano sound should be on par with it…

Broadjam Artist: Dave Haddad (CenterPeace)
Song: Global Chilling (Full Song)

Positive Comments: This is a very cool piece…. at first I thought it was a new age relaxation piece but the music came in it set the mood in a whole different direction. The recording and the tones you used were excellent. The fast part at the end caught me totally by surprise… wow…I cant say enough good about this piece very original and enjoyed listening

Constructive Comments: Nothing to complain about here…. this was a VERY interesting piece of writing…. it was SUCH a relief to hear real instruments and real musicians playing. AND they are playing in time and in the groove…

Broadjam Artist: Keith Burgess
Song: The Darkest Hour

Reviewer: Randy Calligan

Positive Comments: Perfect tension building piece. I liked what youve done with it. I can see this being used in a number of instances…

Constructive Comments: I wouldve EQ’ed the bottom end to clear up a little of the mud. then added a few more instruments to the 1/8th note sequenced part in the back ground to make it stand out a little more. If you take the sytnth strings and record a few tracks of them… put them slightly out of tune with each other and pan them out in the mix it would give the overall piece a little more depth

Broadjam Artist: Chet Nichols
Song: Lovers and Friends (Instrumental)

Reviewer: Randy Calligan

Positive Comments: It’s very refreshing to hear real instruments and real players … honest to goodness humans wow … dont hear that very often … nice job. I found myself wanting vocal to this piece… it sounded vaguely like Crosby and Nash when the two of them put out a couple of albums….

Constructive Comments: Add vocals to this… and use a click track to the groove is a little more in the pocket. Dont use the synth strings… everything else is real and it is so refreshing to hear real instruments and people playing them. Youve done a nice job on this….

Broadjam Artist: Rena Enea
Song: Bob-a-lou

Positive Comments: I love music that veers off from the beaten path, and this one does. I enjoyed it and dont have a lot of constructive comments to offer.

Constructive Comments: I thought about offering a number of constructive comments about how it was recorded and such… but the more I thought about it the more I assumed some of these elements were intentional to give it more of an edgy kind of feel…. I like what youve done with this

Broadjam Artist: Chip Salerno
Song: A Sign from the Stars

Reviewer: Randy Calligan

Positive Comments: i really liked this piece when it first started, then the track suddenly stopped. I tried a number of things to get it to play but it would not continue … sorry I missed it… sounded like a very cool piece.

Constructive Comments: I dont have anything negative or constructive to say… only that I wish the song wouldve continued top play

Broadjam Artist: Gladstone Avenue
Song: I Had A Dream (Instrumental)

Reviewer: Randy Calligan

Positive Comments: This song is mixed very well… the tones of the instruments are clean and clear.

Constructive Comments: A little bit long…. the strings sound thin and synthy…I’d suggest some EQ and do multiple tracks of them so they can pan out in the mix and sound more real.
