Positive Comments: The song construction is fairly solid, and the lyrics roll through with meaning and flow. I think this is FlavaHype…as usual there are lyrics that really deserve to be heard.
Constructive Comments: The instrumental tracks could really use some work. The drum track is really “ticky” with a lot of chirpy high hat, and it doesn’t have much groove or variation. The string patches, etc need much more variation. Listen to the latest De La Soul and Tribe Called Quest–the bar has been raised so high with odd glitchy beats, lush samples and found sound bits introduced throughout and sometimes appearing only once in an entire tune. I think the vocal needs to break off the one strained vibe that it has on the hook “I’m Creepin”
