Positive Comments: The arrangement of this song is quite good. I sense a little Doobie Brothers vibe in the guitar work. Not throughout but starting at 2:10 guitar solo especially. It’s a very good solo too. The guitar tone is right on. I like the use of a pre-chorus. Overall I hear a classic rock sound.
Constructive Comments: The mix is muffled. It’s a good song but the mix has no life. No EQ or dynamics. I don’t think Mastering will solve this. It has to be worked on at the mix level because I do not think the vocals are seated in the pocket. Use a reference track next to this to help guide you. The very last drum hit at the end of the song is off and will need to be fixed too. Fix these things and you will have a winner.
