Broadjam Artist: Dave Mason
Song: Torquil Telfer’s Farewell to the Oban Bay
Reviewer: James Neilson Graham
Positive Comments: Quirky take on folky (Irish?) music with the kind of harmonic progressions more usually found in light classical music. The fusion is delightful. Is it accordion on the melody? Well-composed string counter-melody towards the end adds interest. Fun piece.
Constructive Comments: Drums/percussion a little ponderous at transition moments perhaps but overall very enjoyable.
