Positive Comments: The first thing that fought my attention was the nice jazzy pianoThe lead vocalist has got a great voice.I’m enjoying the lead piano part, good soloThe part in the chorus where the harmonies come in are exceptionally full, well done!Overall, the song sounds great, has got a nice texture and upbeat happy feeling to it

Constructive Comments: In the breaks it really goes dead quiet. Wouldn’t it work better if there was at least some sound continuing, even if it is a reverb that still lingers?Might it be a good idea to have one of the verses sung and played in a lower intensity? Possibly with a lower vocal line.

Positive Comments: The song starts immediately with a catchy hook after a nice introThe whole vibe of the song is great with a nice eighties feel to itGuitar sound is nice and reminds me a bit of Rick Springfield I think the general idea of the song is great, could just be worked out a little better

Constructive Comments: The song could do with a more set-apart guitar solo, the current solo could be betterThe song is quite monotonous and basically built around one chord, apart from the bridgeDrum sounds are a bit too synthetic in my opinion The vocals are not always as defined as they could be, it’s hard to hear what is being sung

Song: Smooth & Easy

Reviewer: Glenda Jackson

Positive Comments: I liked the lead guitar. I liked the melody and rhythm. It has that honky tonk feel that I think good blues should have.

Constructive Comments: It seems to be missing some instrumentals, perhaps adding more percussion and I could see some type of horns making this a really great piece.

Constructive Comments: Be fun to her a vocal with this song….I can hear a melody in there and the lyrics can’t be far behind. Might push a little surprise break in there in what becomes a predictable sequence.

Song: I wish you Love

Reviewer: Jeff Maguire

Positive Comments: Well performed song expressing a noble sentiment.

Constructive Comments: The production is professional but to me personally it sounds a little soulless, like session pros getting paid by the hour. Same with the voice, well polished, but I get no deep sense of life lived from it. Unlike say Lucinda Williams or Julie Miller, whose voices all by themselves have literally made me cry. Love and it’s true value is a generally a hard won victory over conflict and despair, it’s always imperfect and it pretty much never ends up how you thought it was going to. If I had a suggestion it would simply be, let the writing show that. An example of that in a commercial setting might be ” The Dance ” by Garth Brooks.

Positive Comments: The use of the violin is very nice, and the “after beat” use in the intro works wellThe violin arrangement overall is good, I like the lines usedThe overall mix is very nice. The vocals sound very pleasant

Constructive Comments: The guitar sound used in the solos is a bit thin. Some kind of bridge would have been nice, also since verses and most of the chorus use the same progression, maybe try something starting in Dm
