Positive Comments: Really tasty piano voicings and tone with some very nice *real* sax parts. The backing vocals are just luscious. This has a Randy Newman, Leonard Cohen, or Boz Scaggs sophistication. Nice guitar solo and lots of space in the arrangement. There’s potential in this tune that’s just a few tweaks away. I really enjoyed it!

Constructive Comments: There’s a room slap in the vocal recording–this really detracts from a solid vocal performance. HUGE timing issue on the walkup at 1:46 –you gotta fix that. Same on “let the moonlight” and bridge/solo section. All the life drops out on that bridge. These are midi keys, right? so no excuse not to fix that stuff–you gotta come a little ahead of the bit on those key stabs it’s killing your tune, and this is a very good tune.

Positive Comments: This is a strong Pop tune that could have been an early 80’s hit, IMO. Very nice vocal performance with a lot of emotion and a really nice vocal timbre. The arrangement really complements the tune and is very professional. Very listenable piece–nice work!

Constructive Comments: It sounds like you transferred from tape? It sounds like it sounded good but a lot of energy and fidelity got lost–it needs more presence and overall just sounds like generational loss. I think the guitar parts are very well played but the sound is way too processed and heavy for current ears. The lyrics might be a bit too cliche, but again I think this would have worked in the early 80’s.

Constructive Comments: Good dynamic song…though, in the mix sometimes the vocals are hard to make out the lyrics… maybe the EQ or just a bit lost in the mix… could easily be brought out front in a remix… good song…some more harmonies might add some more icing…? keep on rocking!

Constructive Comments: I think the drums would sound better if they were panned to the center and I think the song needs a bridge – the melody just repeats a little too much – best wishes!

Positive Comments: I really like the lead guitar in this one, I also like the lead vocals as well, very cool sound. The guitar reminds me a little of B.B King.

Constructive Comments: This is a very good instrumental blues tune – the singer is amazing and has got a lot of soul. I think this song would sound better with drums though, I would add them after the first minute to give it a little more flavor because the song is a bit too long – best wishes!

Constructive Comments: Good Rock & Roll blues tune, I think I would add a rhythm guitar to fill in the gaps. I also think that the lead guitar is played a little too much during the singing and takes away from the lead vocals.

Positive Comments: I really like the song. It moves along very well and has several different sections that change things up. Quality of the instrumentation is great. I also like the pause before the chorus, good effect.

Constructive Comments: The mix is great except for the beginning of the chorus. It’s hard to clearly hear what the vocalist is saying. I also think a harmony for the chorus would help to brighten up that section. Great job! Awesome song.

Positive Comments: Great song. It really moves along, and flows nicely. Nice guitar leads – adds flavor to the song. I also enjoyed the sections of the song where it’s just the kick drum to break things up. The melody is very memorable – it sticks in your head.

Constructive Comments: Excellent mix. Everything is clear and can be heard. I like the harmony sections, adds a different spin to the song. The only thing that I might change is the beginning. The songs starts really quickly.How about starting it with the just the kick drum, like the other sections in the song. Just a thought. I really like your song – great job!

Positive Comments: I really liked the song. It has a nice flow to it. Very nice instrumentation. Great clarity on the vocals. The song flies by and you’re always wanting to hear more.

Constructive Comments: The song has great potential. I’d like to see a little more harmonizing. The one section that you did have harmony was awesome. Maybe add some to the chorus to fatten it up a little. Great job!

Positive Comments: The song has some promise. I would look to change up the melody to give more variety. It’s kind of the same thing all the way through. You made a good attempt to change it up at about 2:04, but the chords don’t seem to mesh with the other parts. Keep trying different combinations and you’ll get something that sounds better.

Constructive Comments: The mix is a little muddy. Might want to experiment to find the sweetspot where things all sound clear. Good work! Keep on experimenting.
