Positive Comments: Beautiful song. Very tranquil and relaxing. Love the piano, percussion and acoustic bass on this. Very nice piece indeed

Constructive Comments: The only critique(s) I have on this piece are: I would bring in your piano entry a little sooner…it comes in at almost 1 full minute into the song. Next, I think a remix with less reverb would really set this piece off. It would also help the koto sound which is just beautiful in this song. Other than these two things, I love this song. Great job.

Positive Comments: Evoking the names and images of well know classic rock songs, it’s pretty much in the vein of a classic ” list ” type of format .

Constructive Comments: It’s got potential but it doesn’t really go anywhere or have any conclusion other than to evoke the images of a particular style and time but referencing a bunch of songs from that time and style On that sense, with the right recording and production, it could possibly work as soundtrack music if you were specifically trying to evoke that style and time. But this production is not really up to par in numerous ways, and the vocal effect is truly annoying.

Positive Comments: I like this kind of stuff, the noise and the sounds. Sorry I had to rate it with low market potential, which I think is crap on this site. I like this song way better than any of the pop crap that I have reviewed. But that’s just my twisted self preferences. Now I’m about 3 minutes into the song and I finally hear the main theme. It as like a 3 minute intro. I am so guilty of the same thing, but that “market potential” crap will want you to cut that short. I want to hear this song, with a lot more variation, and like 20 minutes of it in its entirety.

Constructive Comments: That harsh grating sound should be compressed a bit, as it is a bit overpowering on my ears. Maybe that was the intention, so rock on. It sounds very industrial mixed with ambient in many ways. I like the sequence going on with the keyboards. I really dig the sort of swelling sounds towards the end, and then to have it drop off, genius. Absolutely brilliant. Sorry that was not really constructive, but I wanted to provide a lot more feedback, and make it sort of evened out.

Positive Comments: I like sort of the Acid jazz feel to it. A lot of whooshes and star streams going on in the song. Almost to an extreme. The song is short and sweet, which I am glad, because the burping was getting to me.

Constructive Comments: I’m not really a fan of the burping part. But if you’re gonna do it, do not use a sampled sequence. Make it real. And I mean real.

Positive Comments: The song has an inspiration feel to it. I noticed, just by chance, that the basic structure of the song is A B A A, is that correct? Try introducing another theme that brings more of a climax in the end of the song. And have the beginning more mellow. Perhaps change the B section to be more mysterious, making it B’, so when it comes to the new C theme, that there is something to go out with in a more positive way.

Constructive Comments: The sound of the drums are the very typical keyboard/drum machine sound. I would improve that. The main theme with the keyboard is kind of boring for me, I wish I it would change some more. I wish there would be more than just keyboards in this. Even the strings sound like the keyboard. I realize that this artist, being in the “New Age” genre, likes to use keyboards, but I just don’t dig the entire song being just a keyboard. I would like to hear more of a variety in the instrumentation in this song.

Positive Comments: I like this song. I can relate to this living near the Susquehanna River. The Susquehanna can be very treacherous. I saved a guy from drowning on it one day. And that was during a drought when it looked sleepy. That guy learned the hard way. My brother in law (Dan Hartman) wrote a song about the Susquehanna called The River Rising which he recorded when he was with the Edgar Winter Group. Neat song you have there, keep it up!!!

Constructive Comments: I didn’t hear anything I would change. Keep up the good work!!!

Positive Comments: Neat idea. It’s a nice change from the same ole Christmas songs that get played to death every year. It really put a smile on my face. What’s Christmas all about anyway.

Constructive Comments: I thought this was a great song! There was just a few places where I thought the vocals could be just a tinge louder near the end of the song. But I loved it, it put me in the Christmas spirit. Thanks
