Positive Comments: I really liked the song. Has a nice flow to it. Great chorus, excellent instrumentation. The song really flies by, good transitions into each section. I almost wish that it was a little longer, I wanted to hear more. The song has a real positive vibe to it. Feels like it adds a bounce to your step.

Constructive Comments: Great mix, everything is crystal clear, can really feel the bass. Great work!Maybe add a small lead section to help get you to the magic 3:00 to 3:20 minutes.

Positive Comments: Down low little blues / jazz with shades of Mose Allison and maybe Michael Frank, very nice changes and solid playing.

Constructive Comments: Some spots where the drums lose their swing, not bad, just a little stiff. Changes are good, lyrics don’t really inspire me personally, couch potato sees pretty woman , gets horny, sings the blues, but hey, that could be me. Well played overall.

Positive Comments: I liked the song, it was tender and emotional. It had a nice easy listening feel to it.

Constructive Comments: I kept waiting for something a little different that had not been done so much. I feel like if you could take the emotion and say things in a less clich way, it would be a wonderful song. I loved your voice and thought you sang it very well.

Song: The Road Instrumental

Reviewer: amy abernathy

Positive Comments: I liked the guitar riffs in this song. It seemed to be a very good recording, although I was not crazy about the arrangement, it had some good playing in there. A little mix of old school and traditional.

Constructive Comments: At first it seemed traditional and then the hard rock guitar came in, it did not feel cohesive in spots. All though the person playing guitar is very good. it almost felt like two different songs in places.

Positive Comments: I like the sound of the beat and the keyboards and special effects, very cool upbeat piece of music.

Constructive Comments: I like this song a lot, especially the second half of the song, it really kicks into gear and gives you a very good feeling, like what you would get on a Carnival Ride – I do wish that a lead guitar would have been added this would have really sounded good in the first part of the song – best wishes!

Positive Comments: I like to dress up in my scary zombie stilt costume on Halloween night when all the neighbors come by our very scary haunted house. We put this on our playlist for this very special night because it’s ooey-gooey. Mom says she likes this kind of electronic ambient music when she’s baking fudge brownies and has to do a lot of dish washing.

Constructive Comments: This is a very well mixed ambient and avant garde piece. The repetitive soft note got on my nerves after a while. But hey, it’s ambient right. So, best thing I thought of was something scary with all the changes and voices. I was hoping for something a little more musical. This would be good for a sound effects library or Halloween eve. Have a good day.

Positive Comments: Modern, and pertinent lyrics in this day and age.

Constructive Comments: Only thing I didn’t like was the ‘bubbly’ synth that plays throughout. That’s not to say I didn’t like it but it would have more impact if it dropped out here and there and then came back in for example in each chorus.

Song: Don’t Listen to Your Heart

Positive Comments: Really liked the pad synth strings at around 2min 33. Some nice grooves in there.

Constructive Comments: I’d leave out the guitar parts in the intro. If there’s one thing I’ve come to realise is that these days less is more. If you listen to the DJ Snake Juston Beiber track (shock horror!) for example it works for me because it is SO simple with very little backing. It is more about the actual synth voices used and vocal hook. Some would say that makes it throw away music, but if you are seeking commercial success I think you could benefit from revisiting your approach. The electronic bassline is very dated and over busy. (Right up my street mind you!).
