Positive Comments: Very nice recording. The song really pulls you in when that chorus comes in. Love the chord progressions. This track could work on so many levels. radio, film, tv,… the sky’s the limit. Nicely done. Love it! This is a hit!!!

Constructive Comments: Nothing much to add here. Recording was mixed well and vocals , especially the harmonies were spot on. The only thing I sensed was the lead vocal seemed to maybe be straining a little on the chorus, to hit those notes, but maybe not. Anyway, loved the song!!!

Positive Comments: This powerful electronic industrial track created mental imagery that reminded me of perhaps playing “God of War”. Well, if you know this game, pressing the buttons really really fast can be tiring on the hands … with this music as a backdrop I definitely could get more game action!

Constructive Comments: I like that introduction. The first part of this really did remind me of the game “God of War”. I think the piano could have a slight more presence in the mix. I think the drums could have a little more presence around the 1:25 mark … and again when the drums come back in and the guitar is rocking … the drums lack of presence is noticeable. I think that guitar, it sounds great, but may be crowding other instruments out. I like that pause in the piece with the long notes and creating a continued suspense…the drums coming in after that sound better than what is before … but then the drums disappear again. I really think this could use another pass in the mixing. At the end, we hear the piano again, but last time we heard it was in the beginning. If it was playing throughout the piece, it was buried. At the very end, the last note, the big horn instrument just stopped and should have been longer to complete closing of this power piece more properly and then fade out. We played this three times, first, to hear the piece as a whole, and adjust our ears we then listened again and a final time to ensure that what we say is correct. Please remember this is at random, we don’t know who made this or how. Have a great 2017!

Positive Comments: I think it would help to make this song sound more inspirational if there were some sort of vocal/choral parts throughout this song. It sounds very airy, and the sea tide sounds help. The ending, after that brief pause, I think should be tied back to the beginning of the song instead of the ending itself. Can you add some seagull sounds? That would be a cute touch. Anyway, thank you for the song!

Constructive Comments: I was thinking this song would bring some feeling of inspiration, but it was pretty flat feeling, in that it didn’t really give me goose bumps. I was really hoping that. The continued arpegiated line running throughout the song I think should be a little bit softer, not in its volume, with with the attach on the notes. Just turn the attack down a bit, so that it does not compete with the main melody theme going on.

Positive Comments: I really enjoyed listening to the well-crafted piece of music and even though we stumbled across this in the electronic genre, I say upgrade this to smooth jazz. The mixing and mastering is spot-on in terms of filling the sound field, harmonics and that muted organ that plays in the background is very pleasing – this seems to be something I’d want to play while I am driving down a long empty highway somewhere in a convertible and the top is down.

Constructive Comments: I apologize for taking off marks for arrangement. This piece really could have used both an intro and an outro. I was really excited to hear this and loved it and when it got to the end I let out a big “Awwww….” because I was so into it, I expected something more in the end to close it out. The mixing and mastering on this is really well done. And, please remember, this review is at random, we don’t know the artist or how it was created. We hope you have a great new year!

Positive Comments: The emphasis is on the orchestral arrangement, with the guitar countering the phrasing. I really did not catch any sort of hook in the song, even though that appears to be the big catch of reviewing songs. I actually despise having to always write a song with a hook, and so it’s no big deal. I like your song regardless. The quality is good, I would suggest to try adding a little more dynamics into the song, with volume, and more counter phrasing, even building suspense to the end of the song. I know you have it in you to do this. Maybe with a remix you could get a blockbuster tune out of it!Thank you for the song, all the best to you.

Constructive Comments: I never like providing an appropriate title for the song, because I am afraid of insulting the artist. But really, it is rather a starry kind of song, and with the grinding guitar I feel that title is suggesting that, but I mean no harm. I can tell much of this song was done with a keyboard. If I am wrong with that, then I apologize. But I think that because the drums sound very shallow and fake. As far as the mix goes, it sounds almost over compressed.

Positive Comments: The voice is cute, with the high pitch, sounding like a young child. I like how the song slows down to emphasize getting tired, possibly? I like the structure of the story with the musical progression. It doesn’t repeat at all, and keeps me interested in the song. It really is quite captivating and unique. I really applaud you for this song. Just curious if this is intended for a kids audience. No matter, it really could work if that is the intention. Bravo!

Constructive Comments: I would perhaps cut back on the reverb in the vocals. Sometimes I think people add reverb to vocals to mask deficiencies in the quality of their vocals, thinking that they don’t like the sound of their voice. Well, let me assure you that if you remove a lot of the reverb, I think the vocal quality will be just fine.

Positive Comments: I wonder if Stephen will like this birthday card? Oh, look, that’s a beautiful vase and I love that aroma from the candles. Oh, wha… Sorry. I was listening to this beautiful piece of music that took me into some mental imagery. I thought I was in a beautiful New Age gift shop somewhere, and this music is playing and I’m relaxed and centered and just enjoying the pleasant environment. This musical piece tells a little story. I definitely want to put this on my playlist for relaxation.

Constructive Comments: This is a beautiful piece. I think the chimes were just a tad “over-the-top” but that’s cool…if this music was being played in an open environment like a shopping area, it would be perfect. I’d like to hear this over the sound system while shopping. I don’t have anything else constructive to say, sorry. Hope you have a great new year!
