Positive Comments: Great use of different instruments and effects gives this song an effective eerie/dissonant vibe. I found the heartbeat effect that plays throughout the track to be especially tense and it blends in well behind everything else. The instrumentation is perfect for a song like this, so I have very little to critique on here. Excellent work on this, and let me know when you release music in the future!

Constructive Comments: Great work! I couldn’t really find anything to add as this is great at what it does.

Positive Comments: This track is exceptionally nostalgic for me. Everything from the builds, the excellent acoustic guitar, and the emotionally driven electric is wonderful to listen to. I found myself being swept away by the acoustic guitar especially — it works so well accompanied by the other instruments. I love music like this and I’m so glad guys like you are still creating masterpieces in this genre. I look forward to hearing your music in the future.

Constructive Comments: I can’t think of anything to add. The music is great!

Positive Comments: There is a sense of longing or sadness around the beginning of the song, and it is implemented very well to strike an emotional chord. I found the song to be very enjoyable because I was reminded of a game I used to play called Shenmue — the music in that game is similar to this track. Overall, this is a very emotional song and I can tell you put much effort and devotion into it, so great work on this. All the instruments come together and blend perfectly.

Constructive Comments: Again, excellent job on this one. I look forward to hearing your next work of art.

Positive Comments: First of all, this music sounds great with its 80’s-90’s vibe. I find the whole song rather soothing even though it is a faster paced track. Indeed the drums add a little extra momentum to the rhythm of the song. I think the bass is what made the song sound nostalgic, which is a good thing. Overall I found myself really enjoying this track and I look forward to hearing more form you in the future!

Constructive Comments: Excellent work on this! I enjoyed every minute!

Positive Comments: OK, so I just woke up. I was trying to get me’s eyeballs focused for the day with a big steamy cup of coffee, when, in my disorientation so early in the morning – I stumbled across this piece of music which was hidden in the unique-unclassified genre. Hey! This is nice! Perfect to wake up to this morning. This is a relaxing short piece featuring a skilled guitarist. After listening to this a few times through yes, this would be perfect music to play in our household as we get a good start to our day!

Constructive Comments: Please don’t change anything. It is simple and effective. Sometimes a guitar is all you need! 🙂 Have an awesome day.

Positive Comments: Totally rockin band with scorching guitar work, very reminiscent of Doobie Brothers around 78, nice.

Constructive Comments: Bit of a mixed bag. The band smokes and the guitar player is rocking, but the recording sounds like a rough mixed cassette version of a session from 1978. I don’t know if I’d put that much fuzz on a guitar in this style of classic blues rock, the tones gets kind of washed out, maybe more like a classic LP into cranked Marshall, or maybe it’s just that the recording has washed out a lot of detail. But the player is smoking in either event. If you really like the tune you might want to record it over.

Positive Comments: I loved it. Especially your use of the lower range of the keyboard. Your chord choices and theme was terrific and well placed. Very nice mood your composition sets. Great use for any movie placement. I am sure you have had placements with this track. Nicely done, congratulations! Would like to hear your others.

Constructive Comments: Thank you again for featuring the piano in the lower registers. Can’t get enough of that.If there is anything I would even suggest, would be to layer some strings as a pad from almost the beginning. More like a pad or very much a background, just after introduction of your beautiful theme. Congratulations on a nice composition.

Constructive Comments: Loved the mood this track sets. You have obviously done this kind of thing a lot.i appreciated the simplicity of the melody and making it easy for most folks to hear and enjoy it in a tv or film placement. I am sure you have or will have this in a documentary or documentaries. Seems a perfect fit for that type of placement.

Song: Tribute To Rembrandt for Karen Wheeler

Reviewer: Floyd Kelly

Positive Comments: I found this piece of music in the unique – unclassified genre, so I had no idea what to expect when I hit the big honkin’ play button. The sound environment in this music is indicative of a meadow far away with birds singing, which set up a nice sound environment perhaps with a Celtic flair. The pacing, the instrumentation, the arrangement all remind me of playing a Chocobo side-quest in “Final Fantasy” perhaps. The piece is relaxing and has a big surprise about half way through which, I’m guessing, Mr. Chocobo must have hit a jackpot of some kind. With a full-bodied beat on the drums and squelched distortion guitar, … … well … … I can only surmise that Mr. Chocobo is really happy!

Constructive Comments: I wouldn’t change anything. This piece is unique. The description offered in the first part of this review is meant in good spirits. We hope you have a great day.
