Positive Comments: The vocals are nice and crisp. I love how well his voice sits in the mix and he’s a good singer. I also love the instrumental. The mix of piano and guitar really compliment each other quite well. The solo is a nice touch as well. The drums offer a nice groove to the track and carry it along pretty nicely. This song is sort of folk-meets-’80s electronic dance music. It’s a nice tempo, too.

Constructive Comments: The biggest gripe I have is the fact that the mix is straight down the middle and not panned to two channels, as all post ’60s songs are. I’m not sure if that was a stylistic choice or simply a technical impossibility for you but I think a wider mix would REALLY benefit this type of music. That’s the only real problem I have with this.

Positive Comments: This definitely has an ’80s vibe to it, which I’m guessing was your intention. I really dig the instrumental for it. I love how wide the mix is, especially the synth/keyboards. It makes me wanna pop in some Madonna or something. Makes me want to get up and dance, even though I’m not much of a dancer. You have a very solid track here.

Constructive Comments: I only have two criticisms with this song. The vocals are maybe a bit too low in the mix. But that’s something that can easily be fixed with a simple remix. And it’s not even that they’re all THAT low or anything. The other criticism is that it goes on a bit too long. However, I realize the point is to dance to it, not necessarily sit and just listen to it. But since I have to pick something to criticize, I guess I’ll stick with that.

Positive Comments: This electronic music makes me dream of running through fields of 20 feet tall tulips and over the hills of gum drop lovelies. Let’s not stop there, because the blue teddy bears of Winkytown are just ahead and we need to get there for our meringue pie! Is that a livacious electronic eclair that just floated by? Oh my…

Constructive Comments: This seems to be a traditional electronic composition and mix. In my opinion only, I think some work is needed on this to be more marketable. But then again, I could be wrong. Overall, after listening to 1000s of pieces of music, this one seems to be centered in the sound field with the electro kick beat driving and the entire music sound is not filling the listener’s sound field. I think more work could have been done for the hook. Please remember, until now, we have never heard this before we do not know the artist or how this was made. Have a good day!

Positive Comments: I like to listen to this kind of wild electronic track when I am cracking walnuts, tenderizing tonight’s steak, or for when I’m taking my overly dramatic selfies where I dress up in different political-figure costumes.

Constructive Comments: With the samples used in this, you may have problems getting this anywhere – make sure you have the rights to the sound clips being used. This is very strange. It could probably be used in a specific political video maybe still, there’s the issue of the rights on the samples used. I was expecting more music. Nice bass drive and that rhythmic “hitting pipe” sound for mystery. Have a good day.

Porch Swing Sonata / Blues Rock by Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods

Positive Comments: Good concept. Like the guitar chords and sound, but a little distortion goes a long way. Tighten it up a little and you might have something here for a film trailer or something.

Constructive Comments: The guitar distortion should be limited. Like keep it for the main rythmn part but take it off the lead. Its too repeatitious, but the overall concept is there. Needs a distinct chorus and break.

Positive Comments: Real blues no doubt.

Constructive Comments: It’s a very traditional approach and it’s well played , real good vocals. But frankly, in a song with such obvious and impassioned sexual intent I’d think the claim that ” all the little children love me so ” is a little questionable. You did save it about 3 minutes in by acknowledging the singer is in on the joke. Might have worked in the 60’s . Can’t really figure out if the audience is real , might be, but the reaction seems a little overdone.

Positive Comments: This is cool electro music for when I am cleaning up my apartment. It gets quite messy here. I loose many cheese puffs in the sofa cushions. Anyways, this music put me in a nice groove and I did a little pickup routine in the apartment. I liked the beat. My neighbor heard me playing this and banged on the wall wanting me to turn the music down. I found another cheese puff!

Constructive Comments: This has all the basic elements of an electronic groove. So, play it in the club 🙂 I took off marks on arrangement my musical ears wanted some powerful melody line in this. The beginning seems un-interesting and flat until the reverse reverb thingy comes in and the beat starts. Then it changes for the good. There needs to be some more instrument dynamics in this to wrap up the listener more. Still a good traditional electro beat. Have a good day!

Positive Comments: I like to listen to this kind of music on my headphones when I am stomping on grapes all day. It can get tiring some days. This electronic track with it’s bizarre conglomeration of fantastical, eerie sounds, electro synth-o-rama goodness, and ooey-gooey mixed voices can really get me into a groove of stomping and squishing grapes all day.

Constructive Comments: This track has all the elements for electronic – so celebrate it! This is a nice mix, nice depth. I need to go eat my pork chop, so have a great day!
