Positive Comments: Love the soprano sax, very nicely played jump swing blues. I could see this on something like ” Prairie Home Companion ” by Garrison Keillor, very down home feel.
Constructive Comments: If I was to point to a weak spot it would be the vocals, which while not awful or even bad, sound a little stilted for this style, and the tone and articulating is a little flat … ie … not soulful or really jazz. But the backup band is crackers, and overall it’s got a nice folksy feel.
