Positive Comments: What a beautiful, yet bitter-sweet song! The singer has a nice voice and lyrics are clear and easy to understand. The song evokes melancholy, yet not abjection. The musical instruments are divine and work so well in this mood. I love the crisp guitar solos and the piano also adds a moving quality.
Constructive Comments: As for market potential, the song is too sophisticated for most market tastes. However, I can see it in a feature film with it’s subtle implications. Although beautiful, the arrangement seems to lack a well-defined chorus and the title or hook seems to be at the end of the verses. Your story left me wanting closure. Even though you appear to have broken a few songwriting rules, I really loved your song. Good luck!
