Broadjam Artist: Marilyn Hall
Song: JOY (Electronic)
Reviewer: Floyd Kelly
Positive Comments: Ooh … nice! This electronica musical piece has a nice sharp and bold beat with some nice transitional musical phrases soft keypads and an presents a curiosity that is almost indicative of a new age style. A merging of electronica and some new age almost. I like it.
Constructive Comments: I took off marks mostly because of the synth-kick drum – a realistic kick drum would kick this up a notch if you ever do a re-mix. Some really nice musical phrases and instruments are in this track I think with a better kick drum/beat, this would be fantastic. I like how within this piece, in parts, the artist breaks out into the instruments. I found the blip rhythm in the middle of this piece detracting from the potential of this entire piece. And, please remember, these are just thoughts of a nobody out in the world somewhere and we have never heard this before now. I hope you have a great day today!
