Positive Comments: I can picture the soccer jocks boozing their way across England looking for a good time after the home team won. It’s upbeat with a little edge. Great touch with the organ. Rocking solo guitar (even if a little hot in the mix). Raw in a great way. Perfect for pulp fiction’esq films or similar television themes.
Constructive Comments: Meh… It’s all mix issues and a few arrangement changes. Focus on what works, pay attention to mix balance, watch your reverb levels in the drums and consider backing your solo guitar off 5.8 DB. Consider a raunchy vocalist with glitter addictions and a fake accent for marketability beyond your typical film or television sinc. Keep both versions available and make sure you let publishers know you can provide “this instrumental” once you record to it. Publishers like stems. Especially the exclusive kind the go out to NBC.
