Positive Comments: I love the whole feel of this song. The lyrics fit the beat of the music very well, great phrasing. It is reminiscent of Lennon/McCartney in its effortlessly simple, but so effective melody. Great and easy to sing along to. A memorable tune for all listeners I am sure. I would certainly love to hear more from this artist.

Constructive Comments: The percussion could be improved with more bass, to give a less ‘tinny’ sound.Maybe more vocal harmonies too.

Positive Comments: The nice thing about New Age – Meditative music, is that I get to create my own imagery when listening. So, when I listened to this I imagined travelling to the gem-laced spires of Helixia Prime and then … oh! … some cirrus clouds float by enticing me to travel further to the mystic plains of the white butterflies. A jungle village of pleasant folks greet me to their world of spiraling 50 feet daffodils and blue-spotted ladybugs. The enticing pianist beckons me further to the waterfalls of blue hues and then resting back at my fireplace, sitting here, listening and dreaming to this fine-crafted piece of music.

Constructive Comments: I took a few marks because on the first and second play-throughs of this I thought the intro strings could have used more realism. This is a nice relaxing piece, no problem putting this on a playlist. It’s New Age.

Positive Comments: There is this young man singing in this short electronic industrial mix, taunting me, and he’s singing like he wants to help me finish something. Now, I just did finish baking biscuits and the mixing bowl needs to be cleaned, so, you can help me with that.

Constructive Comments: I took off many marks because of the short length I was hoping to hear more! I was getting into and it waaaaah….. it ended. The elements in the mixing are all there – good job. Because of the short length, I think it lowers all the marks some. I want to hear more. I played this three times while reviewing. A short media component may use this to drive visuals perhaps. Have a great new year.

Positive Comments: I use to have a favorite toy when I was much younger. When I was a child it was all about Mr. Stretch Armstrong. The advertising for the toy was that it was indestructible. I tried. Over years, I tried. I really tried to stretch that strong toy to it’s limits, but it never cracked, tore or broke! This piece of electronic industrial conglomeration of sounds, haunting pizzicato strings, calling violas, a quick repeating phase turkey gobbly dark sound and synthesized pulls reminds of … yes! It took me back to those days when I would sit in the hot summer sun and stretch, stretch, stretch. All afternoon, I would sit, trying to get that toy destroyed! I guess when I was around 10, I lost Mr. Stretchy – my mom said a crow swooped down from the tree and took Mr. Stretchy away to stretchyland. Awwww…

Constructive Comments: This more experimental and it’s pretty good experimental. I’m sure there must be some obscure movie clip or something in media that could use this to derange listeners. I wish it wasn’t so short. I hope you have a great new year!

Positive Comments: Love this song. The lyrics are terrific, you painted the picture and told me the story! So sad.havent we all been there? Why this isn’t already being used in part or whole in a movie or tv show, I don’t know. Nice Voice, very emotion filled performance. I am sure you are already an active performer doing very well!

Constructive Comments: Nice , nice, catchy melody and hook. Loved it! You write very well for this style. Would be ready to buy a cd when it comes out. You may want to think of pitching this to groups like Dixie chicks or little big town with strong group vocals. Has all the makings of a hit. Best song I’ve heard on broadjam. Congratulations!!!!

Positive Comments: Perfect lyrics and melody teaching this biblical principle. Loved it this song would sell extremely well for vacation bible school curriculum . Also any Christian kids shows on tbn, etc. I am very sure that you have other songs like this in your collection, would encourage you to have a cd like this for Sunday school curriculum!

Constructive Comments: Love the singing, the guitar picking and some very nice kazoo playing. I hope you are building an audience already for your other songs like this. You are very talented and can’t wait to hear this on tv and see it on CNN or tbn in the future. Hope you are submitting this to many opportunities. Thanks again for the whimsical arrangdment:-)

Positive Comments: I like listening to this kind of music when I’m walking around in a carnival’s house of mirrors or practicing my step mania skills perhaps. My cousin, after hearing this with me, says she likes this kind of music when she’s cleaning the chalupa fryer at work before the day crew gets in. This would also be nice on our stereo while we are chopping onions and celery for our catering service. We go through lots of onions and this kind of music would help us out a lot!

Constructive Comments: I think more work needs to be done in this piece. The sound quality is not up there with the other music pieces on the market. Major adjustments are needed in the mixing stage, at least to bring this fuller to make the lister take notice. I encourage whomever put this together to keep on going! And, always remember, these are just the words of an old geezer ok.

Positive Comments: Man, oh. man, you can sing ! Love your voice for new country style! What clear tone and passion! You can really tell that you’re singing about someone you love very much! I could really see the things you described and feelings you expressed. I just wanted to hear a little more about these people in the verse… a little more of their story leading up to that cool chorus you wrote. 🙂

Constructive Comments: As I mentioned previously. Loved the hook, chorus. You definitely leave the listener wanting more from you and more story line . You are definitely talented and the song is very good, but can be GREAT and a HIT with a little more story . By the way, loved the guitar playing, very appropriate for this song. You and your guitar can really fill up a room!!!

Song: Is There a Light

Reviewer: Kitty Matkins

Positive Comments: Great vocal for this style!! Loved your harmony, very appropriate placement.Very descriptive images you painted with your lyrics . Felt like I was walking the streets, with the main character. This song would be excellent movie placement material. Especially where a character has a hard times to feel good ending!

Constructive Comments: I thought the arrangement was well done. Didn’t overshadow lyric, only supported and framed the lyric and singer. I would bring in the hook a little more substantially, so everyone is sure where you are going with the overall meaning. Overall, I really enjoyed. You are obviously a seasoned performer. I am sure you are already selling your music!
