Positive Comments: Your vocals remind me of Stephen Malkmus (Pavement), which is a good thing! Listen to Pavement’s “Spit on a Stranger” to see what I mean. I really like the vocal delivery but it’s a totally Indie Rock delivery, which is also good. The second time I listened this went from “rough” to really charming.

Constructive Comments: The production and mix are terrible… But the song is so endearing, all along with vocal performance–I don’t think you probably how close this is to being an Indie Pop classic. I’d drop the bridge (“calls out to me”) –that feels like too much of a side trip from the guts of the song. This could be so good with some work!!!

Reviewer: The Song Writers

Positive Comments: Love this clean sounding blues record. Nicely done. The title is great if “Shake my Soul out” is it?

Constructive Comments: Too much highs on the vocal & guitar tracks. EQ those tracks and you got a 5 star hit. Keep up the good vibes sounds great.

Song: My Dear, Do You?

Reviewer: Jeff Maguire

Positive Comments: Very atmospheric 60’s style melodrama angst ridden psychedelic and love lost ballad. Very reminiscent of mid period Floyd, or maybe even Syd Barret. The slide is a very nice touch adding a real off kilter sense of impending madness.

Constructive Comments: Like above, the slide add a real atmospheric quality of falling off the edge, could definitely see it in background scene where someone is despondent over a lost lover.

Song: Piano Man

Reviewer: Mike Cantwell – TalentEast Productions

Positive Comments: Simple. Reminds me of the piano in a Christmas song.

Constructive Comments: Repetitive. You could break up the pattern a little and come back to it. There is a high pitched, cricket churp sound that also sounds like peaking in the red and distorting. It is part of the drum part. Also whatever the low male sound that is saying something like Oooo-peeee needs removing. It doesn’t fit.

Positive Comments: Nice song. Nice vocal. Although I think I heard AutoTune kick in. Sax is also very nice. You should Submit it for use in TV or film.

Constructive Comments: Starts out great. Drags and kind of faulters at :55 on At 2:10 has magic. From :55 to 2:09 is too strung out and gets dull. The lyrics over the music is stretched out too much.

Reviewer: Mike Cantwell – TalentEast Productions

Positive Comments: Pleasant little song. I listened twice. You break up the mometony with different instruments. You should submit this for use in film & TV background use. It would be good in Musac elevators and in shopping malls.

Constructive Comments: No constructive suggestions. The song/music should have a place in the marketplace. Good.

Constructive Comments: I suspect the vocal take and the overall mix could be improved. The voice is appropriate, but the style sounds forced to me.
