Positive Comments: This musical piece has a lot of potential. I like the funky rhythm of the piano giving this classical piano piece a contemporary feel. As the music was playing I envisioned a handsome man dressed to the nines – asking a lady in a long white dress to join him on the ballroom dance floor for a slow dance.
Constructive Comments: I don’t know if it is the mic placement for the piano or the EQ in the mixing – or both – the piano could be made much clearer and slightly closer, maybe a little less reverb and cut in the EQ for muddiness. Musically, I think some pauses are needed in this piece as the piano chords have the potential of evoking strong emotions but only with some pauses (whole notes) to let the harmonics come through to the listener before moving on with more musical notes.
