Positive Comments: I loved the drag in the voice. The tempo also keeps the song moving along and keeps the attention of the listener. Great rootsy sound. I liked the easy song structure. This song gave me a warm REM (band) feeling at the chorus. Great rhythmic quality to the song. Enjoyed it!

Constructive Comments: I understand the sound the artist was going for, but I wanted electric guitars somewhere in there badly. I would have still kept the guitar on pedal and acoustic though. The lyrics were hard for me to understand clearly at times, not sure if too low in mix, or words need more prominence when being sung. Was good.

Song: Turn It Off, Then Turn Me On

Positive Comments: Paul Westerberg and Elvis Costello (style not sound) came to mind. I enjoyed the quality of the vocals, they fit with the lyrics. I like the atmospheric sounds that were incorporated into the sound. Also nice touch with backing vocals. The tempo was upbeat and keeps the listener’s attention. It sounds like a song writer’s song.

Constructive Comments: I felt the music was too light given the unique voice of the singer. The acoustic could have a meater sound or there could be some addition of a thicker bassline maybe? Music itself not the problem, just the contrast of a melodic rasp in the voice which needs a deeper sound…maybe even electric guitar? Good job.

Positive Comments: Great story and guitar is nicely played and adds to the organic feel of this one. Sung with some REAl heart. The melody grows on you and has that warm feel good familiarity to it. Nice song

Constructive Comments: This has a “live’ feel to it in it’s “inner noise” of the recording, maybe a tight recording would really make this sparkle??

Constructive Comments: I can imagine this would sound cool if it were a real band rather than played off a keyboard (apart from Saxes?)if i was being hyper critical I would say that there is some discrepancy in the tuning between some of the sax parts and perhaps a tad too busy but…..A lot of work has gone into thisWell done
