Positive Comments: Clever hook-line.Reminds me of Bob Dylan and Johny Cash. Love the structure, the definite country age old songwriting of traditional songwriting. Clever lyrics and a great melody line. This is a song that is waiting to be recorded by one of the big name artists. With a little rephrasing and clearer diction I believe this could be a winner! Great job.

Constructive Comments: The intro to the song sets a very clear indication to the song that is great for this genre. The strings are at certain places a little overwhelming and are competing with the vocal but a slight adjustment to the arrangement and phrasing would fix that up quickly and make this a very entertaining song!

Positive Comments: Enjoyed this song! Very clever lyrics and great arrangements! The songwriter is a great storyteller. I can hear this song as part of a movie soundtrack to a romantic comedy. It reminds me of a Merle Haggard or even a Kenny Chesney kind of song. I love the play on words with the change of rhythm and tempo. Great idea! A song with great potential!

Constructive Comments: The only suggestion I can offer is where it comes to the arrangement. Personally I would let the electric guitar support the storyline. But as is it is still a great song that made me smile and 10/10 for the clever use of change in tempo to support the lyrics! Well done! I’d love to hear more from this clever songwriter and composer.

Positive Comments: Nice melody, lyrics are very workable and with a little polish it could become a great hit song! Well done. Great job overall. Depending on what the song is intended for this is a song that could easily lean itself to numerous opportunities. Good job! Keep writing and composing. Lovely vocal for this genre.

Constructive Comments: I suggest a more definite difference between verse and chorus. As a personal preference I like a 60% vocal, 40% instrumentation sound on country music because the lyrics and storyline is so important. When there is space for an instrumental solo, I would suggest that it would enhance the song but not compete with the vocal. Sometimes with a song such as this I believe that less is more when it comes to the arrangement. If an instrument doesn’t have a specific purpose rather leave it out.

Positive Comments: Nice play on words, great melody and lyrics. The vocal reminds me of Chris Stapelton or a young Bob Segar. Definitely a song with huge potential and public appeal. With a little polish here and there I believe this song could become a hit. It would also work great as a theme song of a movie or even as a TV Series song. Great job.

Constructive Comments: I would suggest a bridge at the 2 min mark and a surprise ending with maybe a short electric guitar solo to just support the lyrics. All round a great song. Keep on writing. I would love to hear more from this songwriter and artist.

Positive Comments: Nice vocals. Would be the perfect song for a movie soundtrack. Beautiful melody and great arrangement. A song with great potential and a great vocalist! As a single or part of an album it would make a great song on an album for both male or female artist. Great job, keep on writing. I would definitely like to sing this song!

Constructive Comments: To make the song more appealing for radio play I would like to suggest a more definite change between verse and chorus. Be careful that the instruments don’t overshadow the vocal. Such haunting lyrics deserve the vocals to be heard very clearly. Around the 2 minute mark I would suggest a change in either tempo or a chord change to emphasize the emotion.

Positive Comments: Love the sentiment and feel of the song. Great lyrics! Beautiful chosen words and story to tell this story. Would work wonderful in a Christmas Movie or a Drama as a soundtrack. Great song! I would definitely sing it. The melody and the lyrics are very well matched. Great job!

Constructive Comments: I would change the backing vocal to a 3 part harmonizing. I can almost hear the snowflakes falling with the beautiful chosen lyrics, so I would suggest to include some strings or bells to back up the lyrics and accentuate and compliment the lyrics. All round great song! Loved listening to it!

Positive Comments: Love the song! Love the lyrics and the melody. Leans itself nicely to be either a contemporary country or a traditional country song depending on the arrangement. Would make a great soundtrack song for a movie or a stand alone song on an album. I can hear Keith Urban doing this song or even Tim McGraw. Really enjoyed this song. Keep on writing!

Constructive Comments: Somehow I can hear this song with a strong electric guitar that will enhance the mood, the acoustic’s percussion are almost taking away some of the romance in the song. Such a beautiful song that I would suggest to put a stronger baseline and maybe even a cello with it. All round a great song!

Positive Comments: This song would make a great movie soundtrack song. Lyrics are melodic and poetic. Nice combination of the folk genre with a modern touch. Reminds me of music chosen for a period drama. Instrumentation creates a nice feel of haunting and longing, that would work great in a historical movie or fantasy. Makes me think of something like “King Arthur”.

Constructive Comments: Would like the lyrics to have a more specific repetitive Chorus. Its a bit difficult to pinpoint a title of the song. An all round great effort on a song that has great potential to me as a movie soundtrack song! Great effort. Keep writing!

Constructive Comments: Sorry…but this is a real hard listen…everything about the recording is terrible…there may be a story of interest there, but I couldn’t take much of the singing…the drums…the distortion. With all due respect…this one is not ready to be heard…not like this.

Constructive Comments: Vocal and guitars out of tune…Lyrics don’t make a whole lot of sense….he’s driving home and stops along the ways to get something he’s missing…sex?…I guess…So…he’s cheating and expects his wife to want anything to do with him…just not a good storyline.
