Positive Comments: Very nice track congratulations, the piano is sounding very authentic theres this mysterious feeling with minimal movement a la Phillip Glass. Also very well played!

Constructive Comments: The repeated lowest note that appear in the beginning (0.13) distracted me a little bit. I know you want it prominent but maybe is too much (I think is because the difference of timbre)Why major chord in the end?

Positive Comments: WoW, what a great little song.Good stuff.reminds me a little bit of Steve Earle or Kevin Welch.I dig it.

Constructive Comments: I guess I’m used to hearing Nashville Mixes.?It was good, just different than I I’m used to.?When the band comes in, I maybe would have had it more in your face., more bass & drum thump.?I would love to hear some Dobro on this track.?but overall I enjoyed it.

Positive Comments: nicely done, smooth blues – between country and blues, vocals gives a nice breath, finish maybe to fast. nice voice,

Constructive Comments: arrangements such in instrumentals, combining of timings and key changings giving maybe some more instruments and bass changings, to get a deeper sound, and such as the lead of the guitar in certain parts some more changings, but the rest well done keep it up best to you.

Positive Comments: I liked this song. Interesting lyrics, good harmony and instrumentals. Reminded me a little of White Bird by It’s a Beautiful Day

Constructive Comments: Uneven quality of lyrics/melody/harmony in the song. “I hardly remember the pain that I just injected” was a painful passage – out of tune, and with unsatisfying chords. If it was my song, I would clean up the music on that part of the verse.

Constructive Comments: Recording is pretty good if it was a stage performance, but would be better without the distortion.

Song: About Face (Be Saved)

Positive Comments: Good beat and positive message in the lyrics. Interesting instrumentation choices.

Constructive Comments: Unfortunately, a poor recording. It’s hard to hear/understand the lyrics over the instrumental background which for the most part was too much, and upstaged the song. I think a simpler instrumental arrangement with just drums, guitars, and keyboard would have been more powerful than the synthesized attempt at a rock orchestra.

Constructive Comments: Song fairly repetitive and not very interesting despite the positive message. Recording was poor, sounding like a live performance. Could use more polish.

Positive Comments: Has some raw energy and drive. The groove gets going as the song progresses, especially with the lead guitar solo. Good background keyboard sound.

Constructive Comments: I was not a fan of the first guitar sound. In general a very poor recording – poor acoustics and mixing,as though it was a live performance on stage. Repetitive, and not as interesting as I hoped it would be.

Song: The Spirits of Christmas (Piano Solo)

Reviewer: Dave Haddad (CenterPeace)

Positive Comments: Nice intro, I love the way the piano player plays! Reminds me of the great Bruce Hornsby (hopefully a complement). Beautiful chord progressions keeps it interesting. Loving the live piano recording (or great sounding midi recording!).

Constructive Comments: Song is good as a solo, for me, it could be great with more accompaniment. Especially noticeable in the 2 minute area before the bridge… oh how I would love to hear a violin melody there or simply accompaniment. Having a solo instrument would enhance the melody where as now the ‘hook’ is more or less the progression…. you could really take the song to a deeper level if by adding just lead instrument and decided on a theme… hone in on and scrutinize a melody as a singer might. Just sayin, if anything, that’s what I heard which was missing.
